Two Clarkston women killed after police chase

I'm totally saddened & disappointed about this incident. She was dearly loved by all her friends at her old job. I wished that they didnt flee.

it is a tragedy when people loose their lives, especially when its due to the fear of legal reprecussions they may face.

This is truly a devistation to friends and family. It is unfortunate that the lives of two young women were taken by a such a tragic mistake. But before people go and judge those that were involved in the accident just remeber that they were beautiful people that didn't deserve to lose there lives.

who were they? i want to know if i went to school with them.

Julie was s sweet girl and is going to be missed very much but most importantly, her children are young and w/ out a mother now. I hope all people who read this will not make the mistakes that they both had made.

MADD is not the organization you should be upset with. They were right to bring about changes in the law and public tolerance with public drunkeness. Imagine what the roads would be like without the changes they brought about? To drink and drive is a crime, to try and evade is really stupid. They paid with their lives, a cost far too high but not unexpected. 50,000 people a year die in traffic accidents, 50% are ETOH related.

i feel bad for my uncle who tried to do the best he could for julie, christian and lauren. he's a real good man and im proud of him! i know he loved his daughter very much and he is devasted as is every one who new julie. she was special. if you knew her you would know what im talking about. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU JULIE!

I grew up with Julie. I watched her become a mother to her 2 beautiful children. The fact that she and Katie are being remembered for a mistake makes me feel very disheartened.
Julie was my sister's bestfriend and she was like a sister to both of us. Let's not remember them for a mistake. Those of you who want to post statistics, I have to say DO NOT judge either of these women for what happened. They were both such wonderful women who would do anything to help a friend. Their friends and family members were the most important people in their lives. That is what should be the focus here. They are both gone and it has left a huge gap in our hearts.

They will both be missed... I feel for both of their family's at this time of loss for them......

Katie is my sister and her family will miss her dearly and love her always. She is and will always be a bright light in our lives. We all just pray that someone will learn from this traigic mistake. Thank you to all of her friends who love her and support her in a positve light!!
