now, really....why would you put her name out like that?
do you have some kind of axe to grind with this child? are u a child yourself? do you happen to even know the meaning of ethics? “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.” Abraham Lincoln |

Well put. Even though I think the girl should be in prison for what she has done, there is no reason to give her information out. The court system will do that in time. Must be a youngster who said that. |

But isn't that what people want to hear? Gossip, the girls name, how old she was, who got her pregnant, who knew about it, what happened? Hate to say but it is a cruel sick world and people like "informed" are just dying to give out information just to have someone interested in what they say. Bad choice on giving out names.

well maybe thats why alot of bad shit happens people are to afraid to say something if its the truth then it is what it is and if they didnt want there names out there then they shouldnt put there self in the position, i know she is a teen but damn she is old enough to know better!!

while agreeing at least a bit with most of the posters on this thread.
i do wonder when we became so cold hearted, so merciless that we would pass judgement on this girl before we know anything about what happened. yes, it does seem cut and dried. but, when did it become so vogue to just lock away everyone no matter the circumstances. everything can be taken at face value. i still cling to the position that children don't think the way adults do. in fact, it has been proved that the part of the brain where you weigh circumstances is not complete until u reach the age of 25. having said that, it's not that i believe that things should be swept under the rug. i don't know. the entire situation is horrible. and yes, hmmm....i fear u r correct. |

It's a darn shame that some people are so keen to be hateful. We don't know the background to this and perhaps we should just let Law Enforcement get to the bottom of it without adding conjecture and speculation to a bad situation. Why do you feel you have a right to know all the seedy information about such a tragic case? Also disappointed that someone assumes that a child 'slings leg'- and that that automatically makes someone 'grown up'. We have always seen situations in our communities where kids have made bad decisions - it doesn't always mean that they are bad kids. It could even be that it was a situation where the girl wasn't able to make a decision - we just don't know. In this case the kid in question COULD ALSO be hundreds of miles away from home, family and anyone they felt they could trust. For goodness sake, have a little compassion! |

i wonder how quick some would be to automatically condemn this girl if it were your daughter. now, i believe that folks have one belief system when it's someoneelse's child and another when it's yours.
i wonder how quick we would be to condemn this child if we found that she had been molested, or otherwise taken advantage of. the quick answer to that is, we don't know. and that is what i am saying...we don't know what has happened. it's far easier to call for her head on a pike than to put ourselves in her place. so far away from home, no one to talk to, and whatever other stressors that were in place for her. one thing i have learned, usually the right thing to do is the most difficult. it IS the difficult thing to find out truly what happened. it IS the difficult thing to ensure this never happens again. it IS the difficult thing not to condemn someone out of hand. it IS the difficult thing to practice forgiveness even when you judge people to be undeserving. we can take the easy way. we can throw her in jail, her and all like her. we can throw everyone in jail for any crime, even if it was an accident. b/c we know that if a charge is filed they MUST be guilty. we can lock away all the folks we don't want to have anything to do with....oh, wait we already do that. |

Its not your place to be throwing names out if that person wanted everyone to know that person would of done it.Would you wanted your name out there?(Informed)

I thought that a juveniles name cannot be put out there in any way. who ever did that is in the wrong and I hope they get into trouble. what kind of newspaper and or news place letting these kinds of things are being put out there. |
