I am trying to put together a history of the drum & bugle corps activity in Iowa. I was born and raised in Ft. Dodge and marched with both the Ft. Dodge Lanciers and the Gowrie Gauchos. Any suggestions for sources aould be appreciated.

Hi Ron: I marched with the Waterloo Chevaliers in the 70s. I have several friends and contacts who are former members of Chevies as well as the Waterloo Royals, Osage Precisionnairs, Dubuque Colts and Cedar Rapids Emerald Knights. I think I was in school with your brother, and maybe my Dad worked with yours. I twirled a rifle for Ft. Dodge Lanciers and my sister marched with a flag.
