2 Here is the ugly truth about your president. Since freedom of speech is a nonpartisan issue, I hope you're willing to denounce this program. ********** Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things." Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to "uncover" the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions. In this video, Linda Douglass, the communications director for the White House’s Health Reform Office, addresses one example that makes it look like the President intends to "eliminate" private coverage, when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. For the record, the President has consistently said that if you like your insurance plan, your doctor, or both, you will be able to keep them. He has even proposed eight consumer protections relating specifically to the health insurance industry. There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov. http://online.wsj.com/public/resources/docume... |

4 Do what I did. I sent one after I heard something very fishy on healthcare. This guy on the news was saying that healthcare won't add to the deficit and also reiterated a pledge that there would be no middle income tax increase. The perpetrator of thoe lies is Obama. |

3 The only thing that concerns me are the riots that are going to take place when he either gets thrown out of office or doesn't win the next election. |

2 I turned this one in. http://hotair.com/archives/2009/08/05/boxer-p... Captain Ed is being very sneaky, not noting the REAL way of noting who the Republican infiltrators are. Plaid shorts, with black socks and dress shoes. Gives them away every time. |

2 The US Senate has voted to approve Sonia Sotomayor's nomination to the US Supreme Court. Ms Sotomayor, 55, will become the first Hispanic justice and only the third woman to sit on the court. The Senate voted 68-31 to approve Ms Sotomayor, with 59 Democrats and nine Republicans voting in favour. |

3 So, the White House is trying to BLOCK citizens from exercising their Freedom of Speech under the First Admendment Rights of the Constitution of America. Well, that sounds like grounds for IMPEACHMENT, under Article II, Section 4 [The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other crimes and misdemeanors]. Trying to take away American citizens "freedom of speech", falls under "crimes and misdemeanors. Who is this person that we have in the White House that would "sink so low" because he believes that his Health Care Reform bill is being rejected by 85% of the American people, that he is willing to violate the First Admendment Rights of the Constitution. Its a sad day in America when the corrupt is looming LARGE wright in front of our eyes and some are still mesmerized to take notice. Wake up America! |

3 http://briefingroom.thehill.com/2009/04/16/sc... Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) blasted "tea party" protests yesterday, labeling the activities "despicable" and shameful." "The ‘tea parties’ being held today by groups of right-wing activists, and fueled by FOX News Channel, are an effort to mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates 3.5 million jobs," Schakowsky said in a statement. "It’s despicable that right-wing Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant, honorable moment of American history with a shameful political stunt. Not a single American household or business will be taxed at a higher rate this year. Made to look like a grassroots uprising, this is an Obama bashing party promoted by corporate interests, as well as Republican lobbyists and politicians.” This is the strongest language to date opposing the protesters, which, according to some estimates, topped 250,000 across the country. ---------- She’s a lefty from the North Shore of Chicago (limousine liberal country with Northwestern U. thrown in). Redistricting has made her seat safe. She can get away with anything. I found the statement on her own website , so if it’s satire then she’s satirizing herself. http://www.house.gov/list/press/il09_schakows... Jan is necessary to the left to make Dennis Kucinich seem just a little far out. |
