I think Teddy will be our new chief, based on his former experience.
I also feel Bob will continue to be a great assistant chief. I guess it really depends on who Carruth thinks will be the easiest to do budget with.

I like them both. I've known both of them, all my teen and adult life. Both are fine examples of law enforcement leadership. Both are good folks.

Ted is really good but why has he moved around so much? Bob made a HUGH mistake when he told them he only wanted the job for a few yrs. and then retire. I think Ted will get the job and he will do well in it.

I asked Ted that question a few years ago. HE said there were family ties and health needs for some elderly family members that brought him home.
I think Bob's candor, in his statement, only solidifies his stature as a stand up kind of guy. No, he didn't have to tell them that,
but that was on his mind and he spoke the truth.
Ted is approximately the same age (+) so I am sure he feels the same about TMRS.
I say good luck to either of them. Paris PD will be good with either choice.

I was sorta hoping that Ted would be the Candidate for Sherrif that we have been looking for. I dread it, if JW is elected.
The 'good ole boy' syndrome would have a strong foot hold if Williams was sherrif.

The city manager cannot go wrong on this choice -- either candidate will make a very good police chief. It's nice to have a choice between two class acts.

Yep, you're right about not being able to make a bad choice. It will be interesting, though, to see who he chooses and the statement he gives supporting his reasoning behind the choice.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Pisces

Mercury's retro phase in Capricorn will raise questions in your mind about a friend or loved one during the next two weeks. You might wonder what they're playing at and have to ask them to be straight with you, or you could work hard at overcoming the current problems between you so you're able to enter a much more positive phase in your relationship.
