World Famous National Wrestling Alliance
& Rotary Club announces Texhoma Show

The 61-year-old National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)- the world’s oldest and largest wrestling organization geographically - is bringing a NWA Southwest Road Show engagement to Whitesboro, Texas, sponsored by Rotary Club International, on August 1. The event is a fundraiser with all ticket sales and concessions supporting the Whitesboro Rotary Club’s scholarship program.

Appearing on this NWA Southwest hosted event will be former TNA superstar Kevin Northcutt, Oklahoma Heavyweight champion Spoiler 2000, second generation stars Chaz Taylor & Austin Rhodes, former WWE Jaykus Plisken, high flying Wally Darkmon, comedic Gabe “The Babe” Himeros, Prince Al Farat, legendary Sportatorium manager Baboose “The Witch Doctor”, Mexico Luchadors, and many others.

The show will take place at the Whitesboro High School Gymnasium located at 1 Bearcat Drive right off Highway 82. Bell-time is 7 p.m., and doors will open at 6 p.m.

Tickets are only $10, but if bought in advance just $8.00 at four different outlets serving the area. The ticket locations include Dennard’s Western Wear both in Whitesboro and Sherman, and the Chamber of Commerce in Gainesville and Whitesboro. Nearly 900 attended the last Road Show, and a similar turnout is expected.

All seating will be on a first come, first served basis so come early to secure good seats and see yourself on television soon. NWA Southwest is taping a new wrestling show and the first tapings begin in Whitesboro.
