Van Horn fed up with outages

Full story: El Paso Times

Many residents of Van Horn, a town of about 2,000 people 120 miles east of El Paso, are riled up about summertime power outages and they want El Paso Electric to do something to improve the electric system in that area.

I hope the people of Van Horn ride the EPEC reps out of town on a rail and are told not to return without a plan which will work. EPEC should pay for the loss of income, property, and inventories of the businesses. Send them a bill or deduct the valid ammounts from the monthly elect. statement.
That alone will get these idiots figuring out how to fix the problem. Hit 'em where it hurts the most!

please! i live in arizona now and had a power outage fro 8-10 hours in the middle of summer with it being 115 degrees and i got over it!

why not raise taxes to make the money to replace the poles them selves
