I think they need to start prosecuting these bullies.

And do what with them? They are also children his age. They were calling him names. Have you ever been called a name in your adult life by another? Did you prosecute? Have you ever called someone a name? Did you expect to be prosecuted for it?
They didnt make him take his life. It was his choice. Nobody could call me enough names to make me kill myself. Taking your own life boils down to insanity. You cant be sane and kill yourself.
But, yes they need to attempt to stop name calling in the school. Teach some respect classes. That should have already been taught at home?
If you cant do it, or wont do it ,then you expect the system to do it?
Then we need a bigger system to raise kids. Is that what we want?
More and bigger government.
Parents need to do their job at home. But how can respect be taught, when the parents dont know it? Just look no further than topix to see that. I am not call all parents out. They know who they are.
This is an ongoing, lingering, problem festering. Spare the rod spoil the child.
