I swear I saw a cougar on the Douglas / Washburn county line last summer. DNR says there are no cougars in WI. This was no bobcat. Am I nuts?

its nw wisconsin gods land.my grandma told me she seen a cougar before so I think you could of seen the same.

living up in minong for years and spending most of that time in the wild places, Bergeman springs ,the Copper mine area of Gordon,Out in the Deliverence country of Dairyland and Gordons Bird Sanctuary.Ive seen rare large birds ,Elk ,Moose tracks in the road.And camping out in Bergeman Springs I have heard large cat like calls at night .Anything is possible in the wild places.
