Of course, one could never tell that the picture of the murder victim itself is a mug shot. The household is/was not a stranger to criminal activity.

that address is 2 blocks away from the hermitage police precinct.and is one of the 4 high crime areas in hermitage.good news is that alot of the illegals that live in those areas are leaving due to the bad economy.police should canvas these areas.

I acknowledge this young lady ran with the wrong people, but "nobody deserves" what happened to her.

This young lady has a family, a good family who deserves justice be done.... In the case of murder catching the guy does not help the victim but it does help the family in the healing process.

May God be with them...

Live by the sword, die by the sword. Don't ask for compassion when the anvil falls. Elvis was a dope head, Heath Ledger was a junkie, and this woman was a gang banger. Death doesn't change what someone was in life---except to historians.

Sad, but so true. You know if you are involved or around anyone involved in drugs, you know you are in danger. THANK GOD, it wasn't a child that was murdered. Yell, no one had the right to murder this woman, and I do feel sorry for her family. No matter what, she was someone's child, sister, aunt, mother or friend. Families always suffer when they lose a family member. More then likely her family had warned her about her'boyfriend' and being aroung lowlifes. But, did she listen?? NO!!! If you suround yourself around gangs and illegal doings this most likely will be the outcome. When are people ever going to learn????

That isn't really good news there. Did you see what lived there before the illegals? I'm sure the same trash will be back and I don't believe many left before. Remember, this is the neighborhood that our ole bud Tyrone the pizza delivery robber hung out at. Police should not only canvas this neighborhood, they should camp out there and wait for the inevitable crime to happen.

Also need to add that Tyrone met his demise there too.

Melissa Tyler (Ramirez) has been arrested and charged 20 times since '03 for things like robbery, so I don't think we couldn't see this coming. OK, it was those bad BOYS she hung around with. I, like many others on here, do not make a distinction between one thug or the other, whether they are male or female. Like another poster said, live by the sword, die by the sword. JMF said, no doubt her family warned her about her "boyfriend". It's possible that her boyfriend's family warned him about her. It's sad that she's dead, but it certainly can't be a shock to anyone. And Danintenn is right. There seems to be a lot of criminals, including the now dead Tyrone, in this neighbor"hood". Maybe the Hermitage precinct should bring a little more pressure to bear upon it.

You can not fool with drug dealers or anyone doing drug and expect not to end up in trouble. Ever person knows right from wrong and if they choice to live like lowlife trashy thugs, then they have to know that there is a real change that death will come calling!!!!She made the decision for how she lived her life. Hope she had no kids. But I do hope the killer will be found and put to death. No matter he had no right to murder her.

The comment had nothing to do with her family. If they cannot stand the truth, so be it.

I am not saying she deserved it, but when you bring it on yourself what do you deserve? You might not deserve to get snake bit, but if you play with snakes you know you will get bit.

He was speaking of the victim, not the family. Good families dometimes turn out bad seeds.

If they want my respect the family should have grabbed her, detoxed her, and sent her to live away from that area. If it doesn't work--do it again.

I live in that area and all you really need in that area is a 12 gauge shot gun. I have one and I am not afraid to use it and have announced this as well. No one breaks in on us or steals from us. This is the wrong attitude but have to protect what you work hard for and to keep your family safe as well.
