Congratulations to the golf cart owners in Goodland for getting an ordinance passed for them to operate legally.
I hope this trend will be extended to other communities. I believe most commissions like to have a situation where things are illegal, and they can make money on them any time they want to.(by ticketing)
I am assuming that you folks know that a golf cart(electric) can be converted to a low speed vehicle, licensed by the state of Fl, with all criteria met, such as insurance, lights, turn signals etc. We have done this, due to being ticketed, in LaBelle, Fl.
