The residents of this Island never cease to amaze me.
They profess to be "environmentally aware", yet they over fish the waters, pollute with their over fertilizing of lawns, wasteful spending on such luxuries such as mega homes and gas guzzling cars and to top it off...they continue to develop an Island in the wake of destroying more of the surrounding environment. They claim to be the best place to live in Florida. However, the Island has implement numerous homeowner restrictions, to the point that it is bordering absolute ludicrous. The residents whine that their tax dollars are not used for their benefit...so they became a "City." Yet they use numerous amenities of the County in which they reside. They have their own police force...but they use the County jail to house them.Arrest are generally of those that they deem..."don't belong here types." I think they...and the rest of the world would be better if the just erected a fence around the entire Island...no one gets in...and NO ONE GETS OUT! |
