The immigration issue has always been a hot one. Both sides of the issue have legitimate concerns.

We should be sympathetic with people in need. There is a passage in a book that reads: During a firefight in Iraq, the medics were treating American soldiers and prepping them to be airlifted out of the battle zone. A reporter on the ground noticed that one of the Medics was tending to a wounded insurgent. The reporter asked the medic what he was doing helping the enemy. The medic reply" We're Americans, thats what we do". The problem is we can't care for everyone. The Federal government must enforce current immigration laws. American business, which has been treated with "kidgloves" for years must be held accountable. I believe they're argument for hiring illegals is " they do the work Americans won't". That is not a good reason to break the law. There are people from all over the world that have gone through the proper channels and applied for legal residence in the United States. These are the people we need to attend to. If we need more workers, let them come over legally. I believe most Americans do not have a problem with immigrants that come to the United States legally. The problem we have is when the same government that passes laws and is their duty to enforce the laws- does not!
