Can you believe it ! Kermit coaches were allowed to miss work on Saturday so that they could go to the OU-UT game! All this in the middle of District!!!! If my son wasnt a part of the program I would be up there arguing with "money hungry Grubbs"! I bet only his favorites were allowed to go or they must have paid Gibson to allow them to go(thats all he cares about,the money).Must be nice to miss work anytime you want. While we are on the subject, what does Grubbs, Gibson, Williams and Townsend teach?? We are wasting our money on these coaches(and i use that term lighty). Cant wait till they all leave to Pecos, I guess they fially got the hint they are wanted here! We'll help them pack.

I hear that if they win this weekend, Grubbs is giving the coaching staff every weeke d from now on! Half the coaches dont teach and cant even administer simple tests with out being written up.DUMBASSES!!!!

So the coaches go to the OU-UT Game and our kids because of it and nothing else happens to them! I bet the Sonora coaches were in the fieldhouse working last weekend and it showed last nite!

How could we waste our money on someone so useless!! He was the one of the coaches that skipped out on work to go to the OU-UT game. Thanks for being there for the kids. What exactly does he do for KISD? I think we are just wasting our money on him & his pill popping wife! Lets clean house.

Let me understand what you trying to say,coaching has nothing to do with football because the kids make miostakes? Isnt that football and life. I guess just let the kids go out and play with practice!

What's the big deal if they missed a day, if the kids are good they will play good does it really matter if they miss a day, don't they practice like from Monday thru Thursday before a game?

Mad Parent, no offense but you aren't just a mad parent, you are an idiot. Coaches work more hours than anyone in the district and I would bet money that they work more hours than you ever dreamed of, and probably for less money. I live in Kermit and happen to have kids that Brian Gibson taught. My kids loved him in the classroom and learned more from him than they have learned in the past 2 years combined. That's how you get promoted, you are a good teacher. But you probably wouldn't know anything about promotions...you've probably never received one. And speaking of taxpayers, they are probably paying your rent and buying your groceries.
I can't speak for all of the coaches but I also have a student at the elementary school. And let me assure you, you couldn't make it for one hour in Coach Townsend's classroom without running out crying with your tail between your legs. Next time, try to know what you are talking about before you make an idiot of yourself...AGAIN!!!

You are right I would hate Townsend's schedule because I wouls be bored out of my mind? How many times has he been written up for not doing his job?I lost count at 5! Oh course your kids would like Gibson's class they never did anything and he was always gone. He told us that he hated the classroom and wanted to get out of there. He couldnt wait to become an administrator or take Grubbs' job so he didnt have to do anything all day long. So that deserves a promotion? I think we should end our posts with OUT WITH GRUBBS AND THE GIBSON'S!
