Good for her. My son was a victim as well and we tried contacting authorities and nothing was ever done. It's about time that these no good theives get what they deserve. KUDOS KUDOS!!

I tried to sell a bed on craigslist and some @sshole told me he wanted me to ship it to him. Probably the same guy. Be wary of anyone who would send you extra money and want you to ship a $200.00 bed across the country. I blew him off and told him to rent a UHAUL and come and get it with CASH IN HAND. Never heard from him again.

This is stupid and irresponsible of KDVR to post this until this scum bag is caught. Does KDVR not think that crooks read or check online for weather, etc? Why not wait until s/he is caught?

if you get scammed you deserve it. these people that do the scamming pray on suckers and they are a dime a dozen. if you cant figure out its a good deal and somethings admist.....well have fun losing money

Huh......What's really going on here???? Why would a scammer (if they were really that good) send someone a $2200.00 dollar check for a $200.00 dollar futon?????? Really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Who buys a futon for $2200.00?????? What was the scammer really getting out of this???????

Amberay is the scammer. She has stolen and pawned things from my home, after us letting her stay with us. She conviced us that her mother was a terrible person and she had nowhere to go. Her mother told me, "to watch it, Amberay has been stealing since she was a child." I learned a valuable lesson. Don't trust anyone. Even the person you think has been scammed!
