LGBTIQ? WTF? I gues I'm WRCHIBMWC.(White Roman Catholic Hetero Irish Born Married With Children) Or maybe I'm just TIRED of all of this.

When the courts go one way, someone is pissed. When the courts go the other way, someone is pissed. Good Lord. Enough already.

According to Websters definition;

Marry - the legal union of husband & wife

Wife - married woman
Husband - married man

I guess that some folks feel the need to rewrite all of the books.

Hey Troy, except for the Irish (and obviously bigoted) portion of your self description, we are very similar...BUT...
All of you - your comments sound like the old news reel outtakes of southern racist and KKK's in the 50's and 60's. Your thoughts and attitudes will also be ridiculed and appear ignorant and boorish in a few short years. If you want to progress, be progressive. Live and let live, what's it to you anyway? Unless there's a latent fear, you should not react this way.

Every one of the world's religions holds homosexuality as sin, with Islam prescribing death for it. The one definitive study, as part of the Kinsey Report, found homosexuality as "a transitory phenomenon lasting typically two years between the ages of 20 and 50." Science has recently announced no "gay gene" has been found, nor is it likely. The American Psychiatric Association maintained that homosexuality was "a treatable mental illness" until the ACLU threatened to harass them with lawsuits over the issue in 1993. Thus, what we have is an effort to render a tradition of value memorializing permanence with something that is provably temporary. Utter nonsense and typical of the left.
And they used to burn people at the stake and stone women for adultery (Old Testament). That's when the earth was flat. Out of the dark ages and into the light. And do you think there are no gay conservative repub right wingers? Maybe they too can be "cured" into becoming lefties.

Shows how much you know hiding behind your little alias. I have a sister and a cousin who are gay. I love them unconditionally. Neither of them claim to be LGBTGI, down trodden, or anything else to victimize themselves. They are both hard working decent Americans who are in a committed relationship with their partners. The fact that they are gay means nothing to the people who know and love them. Your insistance that unless they project an image of the pained minority is offensive to their love and life's choices. End of story.

I am tired of hearing that because I am tired of the labeling, fighting etc that I am a bigot. Ridiculous. To be gay is a choice. Period. Until there is a "gay gene" found and proven I will not change my mind. That does not mean that gays should be beaten, killed, paid less, etc, but it does take them out of the conversation when they want to compare their plight to that of black people, handicapped, etc.

My point with the post earlier was that no matter how the court rules, someone will be angry and it's gettin' old. Being progressive does not mean being ignorant. If, as you say, in a few short years, my views are thought moronic, then I am in the wrong. But my views are not based in hate. They are based in realism. If you want to play the victim all the time, then that is how you will be treated.

Adrian is a insecure zealot. Those religious folk ought to worry about all the child molesters around them. Organized religion has been nothing but a joke since the beginning, they only do harm, no good at all. California will go along with all the other states and provide equal rights to all at some point. The sad, pretend religion crowd will just have to find some other thing to hate on (you'll always have abortion, just please don't ever get around to actually doing something).

Many people post under an alias because there are crazy people in this world that seem to think Verbal abuse ,Violence and hate crimes are OK. The people in Lakeport waving flags, stood up for what they believed in. The supporters who were not gay, waving flags for equality were married couples & friends.
FYI Scientists have discovered a small biological difference. Many churches that have been updated by this information are taking a different stand because of the new scientific findings.
I applaud the Unitarian church ministers for their visable support. They are not gay. I'm not a member of their church
Best regards

Attn: Record Bee Cynthia Parkhill.
Dear Mrs Parkhill,
The word"" Queer"" is considered offensive in the GLBT community in this day & age.
It is primarily used these days by Neo Nazi groups.
In the same way the word "Honky"is used to intentionally insult a white man when spoken by a non white peson or in reverse the "N"word.
That term incites anger and is no longer politically correct.
Thank You

Let's see, it passed in an open election in a supposedly liberal state, was reviewed by the liberal Supreme Court, found to be valid. But that's not what I want, so I'm gonna march! Keep marching, West if possible.

Why am i not surprised that a bunch of ass-backward redneck hicks would be against gay marriage? Those without much intelligence and who are oblivious to the world around them (outside of LC don't usually tolerate anti-mainstream/alternative lifestyles. Hell, you people don't even realize the difference between organic food and corporate junk. Your eating habits are as ignorant as your political views.

I guess it's ok to molest little kids, view kiddie porn, kill your high school bully or pierce your nipple in LC, but loving someone of your own gender is wrong.

Bunch of weirdo hicks man.....
