1 Credit will be a belt tightening squeeze and the handshake ways of aquiring a loan are long gone. Those ARM loans will be exploding in the next few months so the bottom has not been found in the houseing market YET. |

1 Just look around and feel the tension in the air long gone are the free wheeling (spending) by developers (council money doners) and even the City of Glendora appears to be slowing it's wild ways of spending. No wonder since it's starting to eat in to the General Reserve fund account. The reciepts are coming in this cities manager an there not adding up tot he totals he expected or wants to see. I predict this city will do a 180* turn around in it's attitude torwards small business and have finally seen the light that they were acting very bad in the past towards certain people in this town. |

Glendora City Council knew this could happen here in Glendora, California so they passed an Ord. that prevented or made sleeping or camping on public property Illegal.
Nearly 61 percent of local and state homeless coalitions say they've experienced a rise in homelessness since the foreclosure crisis began in 2007, according to a report by the National Coalition for the Homeless. The group says the problem has worsened since the report's release in April, with foreclosures mounting, gas and food prices rising and the job market tightening. "It's clear that poverty and homelessness have increased, the economy is in chaos, we're in an unofficial recession and Americans are worried, from the homeless to the middle class, about their future. |

Now the rest of the country is getting a taste being screwed just like th residents of Glendora, California. USA. have been all along with this Current City Council.
Read On: The Federal government's seizure and sale of Washington Mutual Inc. eases pressure on a federal fund that insures Americans' bank deposits and places a high stakes opportunity with minimal risk into the hands of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Inc. U.S. taxpayers, meantime, could end up shouldering billions of dollars worth of shaky mortgages and other investments that contributed to WaMu's demise, JPMorgan will sell WaMu's least desirable assets to the government. For its $1.9 billion investment, JPMorgan gets control of the nation's largest thrift — more than 5,000 branches in 23 states. It also assumes a highly stressed loan portfolio that could result in a $31 billion write down. |

I thnk George Bush should go to prison for his arrogance, ignorance, horrific waste of our country's resources, and pandering. We elect officials to manage our interests as a people and a nation, domestically and globally.
Bush and his team of idiots have squandered our wealth, placed our nation in a precarious position against both friends and enemies, and eliminated all hope of a secure future for our famiies well into the next 30 years. His behavior has been both repulsive and repelling. He is a bully who relies on power to drive democracy and his personal beliefs worldwide. McCain is the same. The economic situation we're in is directly related to lack of regulation and oversight. Bush's and the Republicans' belief that the market will manage itself is the root cause of this. We've been watching for 8 years now on stations like CNBC and the financial channels how Wall St. big shots make millions in salaries, millions in bonuses, and millions in escape parachutes when they screw up. Suddenly it's not okay - it has never been okay. The disparity between rich and poor has nothing to do with the abilities of either group. It has everything to do with greed, power, and the gated communities that separate the rich and powerful from the masses. Our country needs a fundamental change. It needs to redefine the "American Dream". It needs to bring jobs home and it needs to reward those who work hard and produce - not those who rely on others for profit. |

They had to look at this JUNK YARD 24x7x365 for YEARS! http://i33.tinypic.com/2cqzjig.jpg What are the levels of toxic ground contamination in and around the unofficial, unlicensed, and unregulated former Glendora Junk Yard, located at 1539 Bonnie Cove Avenue? |

1 Los Angeles [NOT FEDERAL] Superior Court Judge Terry Green said that, from his perspective, the lawsuit involves "small town politics" and "a campaign prank" and "should never go before a jury". "For people on the sidelines it really looks silly," Green said. "This is a campaign prank. I just don't see a jury getting worked up about this." "I think you ought to go out there and have a block party and shake hands," said Judge Green. Virgina Marshall, Keleigh's mother, said Friday that she was "not bothered by the judge's comments about the case being silly, as her daughter's side is very interested in ending the case". "We have wanted to settle this for a long time..." |
