Right to speak

Monrovia, CA

#2 Jul 1, 2012
Douglas Tessitor and his cronies have long ruled over Glendora, California city council meetings with threatening defiance of their position of gang like authority.
For the following (7) reasons our City Council members should put their meeting rules on the agenda for revision to constitutional standards.
1) Our state's open meeting law authorizes any person to speak to any item on a public meeting agenda to the limit of First Amendment protected speech. What is that limit?
2) These rules were intended to facilitate the adoption of questionable agenda items feeding a "longstanding, culture of corruption involving conflicts of interest, sweetheart deals and payoffs" operating out of the City Managers office.
3) The adoption of these evil rules, "Pulling the cord on the right to speak," opined that the three-minute rule "threatened democratic principles."
4) The First Amendment Coalition given "Black Hole Award" to cities for suppressing free speech at these meeting by the enforcement of their evil meeting rules.
5) This dismissal a "vindication" of the right to free speech and a "validation" of the right to dissent.
6) U.S. Code Title 18, Chapter 13, section 241 says, "If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any citizen in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured by the Constitution ... they shall be fined not more than $5,000, or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both." Tessitor owes big time.
7) Our Council members individual oaths of office impose upon each of them an honor duty to protect and defend our First Amendment protected right to speak freely at these meetings.

SCAG lingers around like a vulture, and the plague.

I'm hardly surprised that SCAG should have awarded an economic basket case such as San Bernardino a "planning award for prosperity."

Here is how this astonishing news was announced on blackvoicesnews.com May 11 of 2011 (click here).

You can also view the big news on SCAG's "Compass Blueprint" webpage (click here).

I can't keep up.

There's Tran, there's Doyle, there's the lady city manager (?) who fainted when she was found guilty, there was of course the Bell Bunch, Nick Conway the Con, the Bustamante guy, Sierra Madre child pornography fan Matheson who's wandering around free as a bird, the wacky council that was busy having adulterous affairs, and a whole lot more. Hope someone is writing it all down.

SGVCOG is another pot ready to boil over, wonder who is going to get burn't from Glendora, California when the lid blows off?

Douglas Tessitor, Gene Murabito the plot thickens.
Brown Act Suspended

California Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez has refused to move biil to protect "The Brown Act" to a Vote.

The Brown Act, which requires California cities, counties, school boards and special districts to conduct their meetings openly and with adequate advance notice, has had some of its key protections suspended indefinitely by the state legislature because there is no money to reimburse these local agencies for their claimed costs of composing and posting a meaningful agenda and disclosing actions taken in closed sessions.

The only way to change that requirement is to amend the constitution. The only way to amend the constitution is to place a proposition to do so on the statewide ballot so the voters can approve it. A legislative bill to do just that

The Assembly committee holding SCA 7 is dominated by Democrats, and they are answerable to Speaker Pérez.

A directive from him could see SCA 7 voted out of committee and on to the Senate Floor, where Republicans would support it as readily as they have up to now.

Limits are IN

So it's disingenuous to suggest that Los Angeles County will somehow be left destitute if we don't extend term limits.

Michael Antonovich is putting a gun tot he voters heads on this one!

This voter would recommend that Antonovich's motion die a silent death.

Term limits aren't the perfect solution, but it might help get some new blood in the board and perhaps in the future the electorate will realize that the most effective form of term limits is simply not always re-electing incumbents.

Let this old toothless dog (M.A.) just float away.

Ms Green and her lawyers contended a trial court erred when it denied her motion to dismiss the eviction action on the ground it was without cause and it violated her right to due process under the California state and federal constitutions or, in the alternative, failed to allow her to present this defense to the jury.

The Court of Appeals ruled in her favor.

And another California Court has also ruled in her favor again, August 08, 2012.

It's Once again and will always be Case Law for the State of California.

Is there any way we can find out the basis for their choice not to join this gaggle of shifty characters!

Our collective failure time and time again to select a majority of responsible ethical individual for our Glendora City government is nothing less than a catastrophe for our City as well as our Pocket Books!

Shady characters like;

Judy Nelson

Gene Murabito

Karen Davis

Joseph Santoro

Douglas Tessitor

Chris Jeffers

Jeff Kugal

Josh Betta

D. Wayne Leech

And this is just a start..

What is being concealed from public knowledge, by the staff of Glendora, California local government?

The City's refusal to disclose the requested information implies fraud and deceit.

Time to take direct action.

Taxpayers have the right to full disclosure!

Enough of the City's contempt and arrogance towards the public.

We have t he right to know the Truth!

With more pressure being put on local city officials and those elected officials calling themselves council persons.

Why should some boozo in a cheap suit be elected, only to take orders from another cheap suited CITY MANAGER and there political lobbyists controlling them?

Where do the honest voters fit in? They don't they get LIED to by the city manager and city council members.

August 29, 2012..

GPD might have been sleeping through their shift but what happened next couldn't be avoided.

A DUI driver was arrested after driving over a fire hydrant.

The accident happened just before 9 p.m. on Baseline Road east of Grand Avenue, patrons had to alert police after more than 30 minutes of water flowing skywards.

There are 55 million registered republicans and approximately 72 million democrats.

Most of the 55 million republicans come from southern states.

The vast majority of these voters are over 55, so when the baby boomers die off, so will the republican / Tea Party Nation party.

They are doing a horrible job bringing those 35 and younger into the fold, and if something doesn't change fast, they're done.

Since the Republican / Tea Party Nation members are so busy humping the hired help these days.
