More residents of Glendora, California are being forced to take a second look at THIS CURRENT CITY COUNCIL and it's actions it takes in the name of EVERYONE?

Just who is everyone? If you on the special list drawn up by City Hall Managers and insiders you don't have any worries an you will be alerted to any GOOD money making deals this City has to offer! Provide you will play along when your asked to say and do anything your asked to do for the CAUSE!

Whiel this City Council talks a lot of talk, they don't really carry enough water to save anyone but themselves an a few special friends - GOB's an GOG's INC.

What will Glendora do now that this city council now has signed another lost tax based budget?

The tax revenue side of the budget has long been over estimated an numbers inflated to give the impression to the reader and CPA that audits this city books that all is well complete with the correct accounting practices being used to prepare this budget in the first place?

I'm in District ONE Why am I paired with citizens on the far Eastern side of town? I'm on the far Western side of town. I would really rather have a vote on all of the council candidates and not just one.

What happens in any part of Glendora is going to affect me. The Market Place and Diamond Ridge Center affect me (sales tax revenues) I'm glad I was able support candidates in favor of those projects.

The proposed assisted living facility will affect me. I plan to live there some day.

What happens with the Downtown Village affects me.I want a local place to taste new wines and a nice bar to have a beer once in a while.

I want to support candidates that will promise to resurface the entire length of Gladstone so I don't wear out my tires and teeth on my way to spend my sales tax dollars at Diamond Ridge or the Market Place.

I'm looking forward to the new multiplex Regal Theatres. I want a voice in what happens in the entire City. The redistrict map has gerrymandered me into a district with the country-club area. I don't think I have a lot in common with them.

I like my rattle snakes, skunks, and coyotes (or I wouldn't have chosen to purchase a home in this section of town) but allow me to have a say (vote) in who is going to be making the decisions for the entire City not just District one.

NWG Must have something else to talk about but it appears there are some serious disconnects in his memory of what the OLD style of Council election methods.

Another out break of nonsense has been delivered by Glendora's City Hall from their tried an true SNAKE OIL SALES MAN, "Joe Snake oil" since he has posted the same lenghly wordy an action packed with out right lies and misleading comments to which he has NO direct knowledge for which he claims.

This "Joe Snake Oil" lives near the infamous "Glendora Country Club" golf course, which has been the site of many "Back Room" deals sealed with a round of golf and an handshake!


Putting aside his much touted accomplishments these have nothing to do with his position an his close connection an association with others in Glendora who have stopped at nothing to lie, cheat and steal their way to the top of the political power ladder.

"Joe Snake Oil" is just a hired JOCKEY to ride their message around in public view, even though this horse of so called truth is sick, lame and blind.

Glendora, California's current City Council has nothing to lose, they are buying time to come up with more lies if the first set thats being presented by "Joe Snake Oil" fails to protect them from further questions in to their gangster like activities through out Glendora while awarding contracts for millions of tax payers dollars.

Don't look now but there are NEW signs posted in the Historic Village that states: 3-hour parking limit from 8 am to 5 pm.

Along with 20 minute parking limits painted on curbs in front of so many businesses. So few have dictated to the many in the historic village in down town Glendora, California.

Last nights City Council meeting was a well planned farse! All planned by the GOB's an GOG's.

We are told by one of our readers that Foothill Transit, our local bus agency, has sent eight (8) representatives to a two-day conference in France. This is the same agency that recently had to increase bus fares for the low-income or environmentally-conscious folks who use the bus system.

The 8-person Foothill contingent is made up of three elected officials, Peggy Delach (chair of the Executive Committee and Covina councilmember), Roger Chandler (member of the Executive Committee and Arcadia councilmember), and Doug Tessitor (member representative from Glendora and Glendora councilmember). Two senior staff members are attending: Doran Barnes, the Executive Director, and David Reyno, the Director of Government Relations. In addition, there are three worker bees getting the nod for this plum trip: Arciela Lopez (transit store manager), Dietter Aragon (planning), and Gary Nehls (procurement).

You, the bus riders and taxpayers who subsidize Foothill Transit (3 dollars in subsidy for every dollar paid into the farebox) are lucky to have these eight hard-working representatives doing your work in Paris, Rouen, Lyon, and St. Etienne.
