I am an Armenian-American. I do not hate any Turkish person, I do hate their actions. But I also know of a lot of stories about Turkish families who helped the Armenians during the Genocide. There were some Turkish people who hid the Armenians in their homes to protect them. There are some Turkish people who are not afraid to admit the truth.

I think the real number is closer to 800K-1000K based on reliable estimates - most of these people died of disease and starvation as a result of depravation of liberty by the Ottoman soldiers. A considerable (and significant) number were also shot or bayoneted
The Turks need to come to grips with this aspect of their history rather than bury theirs heads in the sand like the Japanese over their war time activities

That coming from a turk who has been in Constantinople only since the 15th century, lol, vs the Armenian civilization since 3000 BC (same indo-european language all along, same region all along) Just look up old Roman or Greek maps to see ARMENIA written all over E. 300,000 is a gross underestimate - the real number is 90% likely to be between 800,000 and 1 million

certainly les than 1.5 million some people are claiming
