I really want to see Scarlt J. She is my idol. I want to be a star and am trying to talk my parents into signing me up for acting lessons at the Academy of Cinema and Television so I can see her and the other young actors they bring there.

ACT engages in some questionable business practices, like advertising to kids on Nickelodeon and making it sound like their auditions are for actual parts. The fact is that the "auditions" are simply a sales tool to get people to come in and sign up for expensive acting lessons. The lessons may be great (i have no idea), but the way they recruit is slimy.

I feel like this is truly a scam and am sick that I have spent so much money on the program. Every time I turn around feels like they are asking for more money. Went to an audition were it seemed that everyone in the program made the cut. I find this very hard to belive. It was for a conference in AZ that would be another 5 to 6 thousand dollars. This is a bogus program and would not recommend it.
