Forty North Apartments

I'm sure I'm not the only person that has something to say about the Forty North Apartments..Although I have not seen any other discussions on it..I lived there for a little over a year, in constant worry of the well being of my family..Mainly during the summer time..I couldnt take my children outside of my apartment, to just play in the court yard, because I was scared of what they may have found in the grass, because at one point in time, a neighboring child found needles in the bushes right in front of our apartments, not something I want my toddlers to find.. Constant fights, that the so called "manager" would do nothing about, and as for calling the police, yeah you can pretty much forget about that one..

Forty North Apartments is a freaking joke! There apartments are not mantained, you can call and tell them something is wrong, and it will take days, and one time it even took months to get the problem fixed..So for any of you who are reading this, if you or someone you know are looking for a place to live in Stillwater, I would STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO LIVE THERE..Especially if you have children..Yes the rent is cheap for a 2 bedroom we paid 550, that was with all bills paid..Either way, you cant put a price on the safety of my family, and thats one thing you wont have in that apartment complex!

I lived in Stillwater about 3 years ago. I only lived there for about five months. We also lived at forty north. We lived in one of the one bedroom apartments at the back. I would never go outside with my son I was too afraid. Once the neighbor drove his car into his patio door b/c he was too drunk to stop the car. We never went swimming or used the laundry facility in fear of being bothered. So I so agree with you outathere.

I lived there between 1995 and 1997. It has not changed, the place is a mess.

The beating heart of stillwater, the true center of culture

My family is new to Stillwater. The only thing I can say bad about this town is that I live at Forty North Apts. I've only been here two months and I already can tell you this is the most ghetto place I've ever even been in. This entire complex is over run with bed bugs. I've already had to throw my sofa away because it became infested. Unless mgmt. insists that every apt. get treated it's not going to get any better. I've gotten bitten from head to toe by these bugs. It's also over 100 degrees outside and our air conditioner doesn't work. I've called for repair three times with no success. Our breezeway is evidently the "party central" for our building because there are 10-25 people (including small children) partying and drinking all night long, literally. I wonder when these folks go to work, we have to sleep occasionally. I'm sorry I moved here and I plan on moving out asap whether I have to break my lease or not. This is hell.

My daughter just moved from forty because her apt as well was infested with bed bugs. She has been through hell with the bug bites to her two small children and the cost of disinfecting what she could keep. This took over a month to wash dry and replace.
