Friday, June 26th, at approximately 4:25 pm, I felt a 30 second rumbling of my home that made dishes vibrate; am I the only one who felt this tremor? I see no mention on the Internet of a minor earthquake here. I am not joking, and wish to have serious comments only; thanks.

I was in Stillwater shopping and didn't feel anything; but I'm told it was felt in places like Perry for sure. It was recorded by the earthquake research people ( probably in Norman???)

See my posting for the official link.

Another earthquake registered in McCloud, OK on 7/1/09.

I said it before the prediction is that every 50 years OK will get a more major earthquake. The hazard area's center is South-Southwest of OK city.
It is like a oval target that slants from Stillwater
in the north and angles downward south-southwest.
These quakes have been east of OK City.

Back in the 1950's there was a 5.5 which causes damage.

Stillwater is under the gun earthquake-wise.
It is beyond me how people can even build in earthquake areas. Maybe the business environment is more favorable, but when you consider all the damage that shaky ground can do in just one minute....is it worth it?
