My Husband and I are coming over from scotland in 2 weeks. We are meant to be getting a greyhound bus from maryland to New york. Can anyone tell me do you have to buy your tickets in advance (we will be travelling on a Monday if that makes a difference?).
Also we are staying in Bowie. Whech is the handiest place to get the greyhound bus from. I'd be so grateful for any help you could give us.
Thanks

you can catch the greyhound bus in Washington DC and Annapolis MD both about 20 minutes. I would check their website for best location for your route. They dont require advance tickets, but its never a bad idea to reserve a seat. This is a slow way to travel.

You might be surprised how cheap it is to fly. chech out southwest airlines website. BWI airport is about 20 minutes from bowie, you will have to then take a shuttle or cab into the city for and extra charge.

the amtrack train is the easist way to travel from bowie to ny city. take the train from BWI airport or new carrolton maryland (both close to bowie) and it takes you right into the middle of new york city. the train leaves every 30 minutes and requires no advance ticket.

My wife and I have taken the Greyhound from New Carrolton Station. We parked right there in the garage, but it's also a Metro stop. I believe it was crazy cheap like under $40 apiece r/t.

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Gemini

This is a good time to take stock of your actions and the direction you're going in. Are your efforts getting you anywhere or leading you astray and scattering your energy? If you're putting in the work but not moving forward, you're not on track. The old adage 'cut your coat according to your cloth' is good advice. Be simple and purposeful and don't waste time with things that get no practical results.
