It doesn´t get about hurting anybody. It gets about electing normal president in USA and Ron Paul is the only normal presidential candidate in USA and that´s why he should win and take this office.

I think they fact that he would be taking votes from the left as much as the right speaks to the validity of Paul's ideas...

Does anyone still listen to Rasmussen?

"The Rasmussen poll, like the Cato Institute, is seen by some analysts also as a conservative, largely Republican group whose poll questions are set up to solicit, and obtain, conservative opinions. This is true even though Cato Institute promotes itself as libertarian. There is some controversy about its leanings, but as Nate Silver of the New York Times observes,“What it does mean, though, is that when you're evaluating the polls in a particular race, you need to take an especially long look at who's conducting them. If you tell me that the latest poll has the Republican up by two points in Colorado, that's going to mean one thing if it's Research 2000 telling me that and quite another if it's Rasmussen.”

Greg, I wished you were right about electing normal people to public office here in America. But that's just going to happen. Politicians here are not normal people to begin with, and after they are in Washington for about 6 months they become more abnormal. Washington politics ruins good men and women-that's what ruins this country.

There's an old saying in this country. It goes like this, "all that glitters is not gold." We have seen some of the most attractive and articulate people this country has had to choose from. When they got our vote, got the office, they turned out to be the ugliest people around. Clinton and Obama are the best two examples.

Mutt Romnutz is a flip flopping sociopath.

"But all we learned is that he behaved like an asshole and is now pretending to forget it. A jerk is one thing. But a jerk who takes no responsibility for his jerkitude is pretty much the definition of an unlikeable person.

No human being is one dimensional. I’m sure there are plenty of people in the world for whom Mitt has performed kindnesses. I expect we’ll be getting to know every single one of them in these next few months, too, in heavily filtered television ads in which the men wear proletarian flannel and the women’s St. John blazers are kept safely in the closet. All I can say is they’d better be more likeable than their candidate—for his sake.

In the meantime, there’s something very reassuring about this country reposing in those numbers, that the black guy with the weird name who’s been called everything under the sun is twice as likeable as the rich white guy. This is the America that drives the wingers crazy, but that the rest of us—the majority—live in, and love."

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Scorpio

Emotional tension is in the air today, making it a fraught but exciting day. The fur could really fly between you and someone you fancy, especially if you aren't yet having a sexual relationship with them. Try to channel all this energy into positive directions, such as doing something creative or transforming. It will also help to keep active.
