the county funds two city "RECOVERY HOUSES" by giving them money for every person they take in from drug court.Maybe $200 a person. I would say about 50k a year. Plus these houses charge the residents about $135 weak (onehouse does and there is 4). Plus ,they send these out of town residents to out patient programs "New Insights".With which they have an agree-ment with the county drug court. "you send me your addicts and we will put all our residents in your programs" . Now these programs are for county residents and we are spending tons of county money and we cant afford a judge.Why should we be givin all this money away to non-resident people. I bet you cant find a program for a county resident,but I also bet if you goto New Insights 90% are from out of town and live in a specific recovery house "Choices". I bet the residentd of York County dont even know this..
