IDK bout Sureños, homie, how long since u been out here? They're pretty much gone no? It's a sad reality that 14/15 year old kids dying but, it is what it is. People like myself dream of a united community but, it's futile when you have these kings, counts, etc.. preaching their literature to these young kids on the street. We should be encouraging our younger generation to play sports, go to college, and work hard but, it's up to us as a community. I'm not just talking about mexicans either, I'm talking about everyone. I remember being a young adolescent growing up in Addison in the late 90s early 2000s. It's tough going to school and trying to fit in, especially not having money. All these kids see, is gangbangers with drug money and nice cars and bam they are hooked. What they don't see is the few hispanic people that have made it out of these apartments by going to college, military, and just hard-working people that strive to get out of poverty in order to buy nice homes, cars, and what not. The only difference is that they earned their material possesions legally and with hard-work. I'm not trying to preach or anything but, when I see my friends at 25 that are still being effected by gangbanging and their past its sad. You can lead a horse to water but...
