Your gay humor is amusing, keep it up, it's just confirming to everyone here what we already know about you. Your brave enough to throw words around like that, why don't you throw your name at us? You dont have the balls.

That's right blood is blood honey, but evidently you have never seen a mother who has lost a child. To look into her eyes and see nothing but emptiness. You have not gotten phone calls from this mother on Scotty's birthday, Holidays, and the Anniversary of his death. It is the last thing on her mind at bedtime and the first thing on her mind in the morning. Put yourself in her place, would you still bury the body and let this wonderful mother go through life never knowing what really happened to her caring, loving son? Scotty was my nephew, and I for one will never give up on finding the truth.

If you feel differently, why don't you go to the authorities and tell them you have new information? Harping about it in a forum isnt going to do the kid any good. Trashing everyone that posts isnt going to help. If you are really serious, do something that matters. I wish you luck and comfort.

ignorance is bliss...have you not read the last few pages?? Does the term COVER UP not mean anything. Just thinking out loud here BUT if there was a cover up how would going to the local authorities help???
I knew Scotty and I for one thought he was a great guy who didnt deserve to exit out of this life here on earth so early. I only hope his family will some day find peace, I cant imagen the HELL they have been through. And bjo...you know I would sign that for you!!

It was not determined whether or not he fell from the ledge. The autopsy report says his injuries were consistent with a moving head striking a non moving object and that this could be consistent with an accidental fall OR being forced off of the wall HOWEVER, he could not definately rule out the possibility that his head was slammed down as the result of an assault. Those are almost his exact words and in my opinion, and the opinion of many others, that is reasonable doubt. Two out of the three options given by the medical examiner himself point to an assault. Do you see how I cannot help but to assume Karen left out some major details? We are not on here saying that we have new evidence. There are things going on with this issue but it takes so much time to work out the legalities. People are on here to expressing their opinions and feelings about the situation. I am here to state facts and tell people what they dont know about the shady investigation and GJ hearing.

Thanks for your concern, yes there were cover ups, but just to clarify something, Scotty did not "die" at the lodge. I read the EMS report, he was still breathing and responsive to pain. He lay there for hours with a closed head injury before being discovered, no one will ever know the pain he suffered, also there were flash floods early that morning, and he lay there alone, drenched in the cold pouring rain. he died almost 2 weeks later after being taken off life support with his mother there to watch the life flow out of him. This whole ordeal was horrible and no individual or family should ever have to go through this. Thanks again for your concern.

So he was on life support. Where? Why did his mom decide to take him off? Did anyone visit him in that 2 weeks?

If you were able to get one of these AZZHOLES" to admit any foul play on tape you can hang them even if they were found not"GUILTY" in smallville crime capitol USA!You can go to the KSP and FBI then there DIX would be in the ringer

well wrote: <quoted text> they determined it wasnt a assault..... You are wrong. It was never determined one way or the other. The Grand Jury did not see any reasonable doubt therefore no indictments were returned. However, if you read my posts regarding information that I believe was withheld from the GJ, hence the 'cover up' that everyone keeps talking about, you will see that there was reason to believe it might have been. As a matter of fact, I have a statement in my hand right at this moment from the attending physician at Vanderbilt that says, and I quote, "cause of death, head injury secondary to either fall or assault". It is dated 6/10/04 the day he died.

Yes, many friends and family members visited daily in those 11 days. No, my mother did not decide to take him off of life support, we had no choice. He was barely responsive when he was found at the state park, the helicopter took him to Vandy, he was put on a ventilator and was unresponsive for several days. The doctors said that since your brain controls the function of every organ in your body, his brain, badly injured, was probably trying to work too hard to keep his organs going. There is a thing called drug induced coma, which puts you on total life support taking all the work off of your brain, allowing it to rest and not have to work so hard. They thought this might give his badly injured brain a much needed rest and some of the swelling might then go down. The goal was to get the swelling of his brain to go down, that was the only hope for survival. The downside to the drug induced coma is that you can only do it for a certain amount of time. I cant remember exactly how many days he was allowed to be in this drug induced stated before they had to take him off of it. The doctor said that once the drug induce was slowly reversed they would take the ventilator off to see if he would breath on his own, if he did, that was a great sign, if not, there was no hope of any brain activity and that he would be brain dead. When it came time to remove it, he did not breathe. The end.
