Barren Middle School Runs out of Food.

Parents, It is only the binging of the year. Just the first week. The school runs out of food for the last classes of the day. So the kids get to eat the same thing they had on Tuesday. My kid is concerned that since they are the last class to eat that they will not ever or only once in awhile get what is actually on the menu. I know this is only the beginning of the year but the school has always served lunch and it should be nothing new to get it right. Parents as horrible as the food is the last class should not have eat the left overs for the week. If you want to help me fix this before it becomes a habit for the school please contact the principal of the middle school and ask if can do his job and stick to the school menu for all the kids. Even the ones that have to eat last. I know with your calls to the principal she will work hard to solve what could be a problem in the future.

I guess someone miscalculated on the food shipments. It'll likely be fixed by next week.

Probably many more food beggers showed up looking for a taxpayer funded lunch. More piglets nursing on the government teat. When will it stop? Next Obama will want to provide free lunches for factory workers.

I believe in putting out a fire be a blaze happens.
We will see if this continues to happen.

What is wrong with eating leftovers? My family eats left overs a lot as I cook in quantities. At least they got to eat. That is more than some children get in 3rd world countries.

How can more people "show up"? The schools know in advance how many kids will be attending, and how many will need the free lunch program.

when I was n prison, sometimes the last ones to eat did not get anything....maybe some watered down soup if there was enough stuff to throw together a batch. the reason they ran out is that the inmate cooks stole it all, but they would trade it back to you for ciggs. If you said anything to the guards they would put you in the hole after they beat you down. this should not happen to kids though,my barren county school tax on my property tax bill is unreal. This seems like taxation without representation....

If the school had ran out of food everyday, then how is there any leftovers for the next???

Not everyone on free lunch gets food stamps! We make to much money for food stamps working 2 jobs. But we do qualify for reduced lunches. It isn't my fault my job went overseas and my income has been cut by $10 an hour!

yea and its alot of the glasgow people who have no respect, glasgow people have always thought they were better than anyone else, ive seen it go on for many years, and like you said enough said!!

Good grief, why don't you just calm down. The cafeteria probably cooked enough food, but they didn't know how many students in the earlier classes would be buying extra food they have prepared. They are allowed to buy extras you know. Since it's only the beginning of school, there was no way they could have calculated that, but they can plan better after seeing how many are buying extra food items. A lot of these kids go to school starved to death because their parents don't feed them properly at home, so they try to eat all they can at school. So you just have to be patient and the cafeteria workers will know to prepare extra food. GEEEZ
