My child didn't go to formal, but I saw several pictures on FB of children who did and those girls dresses were WAY to short!! The parents shouldn't be angry if they are gonna let their girls out advertising like that!! Above the knees is one thing but WAY above the knees is a little much

What is missing in these girls' lives that makes them so desparate for attention? GOD. We should pray & try and help them-not degrade them even more.

Our formal has went well for the last three yrs I been at Barren. This yrs was terrible due to some of the sluts. For example, Shealee H coming drunk. Her parents can't be worth anything to allow this. She's always HIGH or DRUNK. I'm so glad this is my last yr there. Some girls just doesn't have respect anymore. So parents thank girls like her for the reasons stuff gets stirred up. One bad apple can ruin everyone rep.
Considering the drug OD's and death (accidental or purposely) why have these kids not learned from other peoples mistakes? It is just sad

Punish the students that were guilty. It is unfair to stop the other kids from having good clean fun. As for the short dresses, I'm in my 60's and I think they were darling. Times change and we all can't keep living in the past. If you teach your child morals, you should not worry about what they are going to do.

Yes the dresses were nice, but just a little to short!! When they bend over and you can see what color their panties are than thats a little much i think. And when there are pregnant teenagers running around people are wondering how that could happen to such sweet innocent girls. Well look how they dress!!

Just because the dresses are short doesn't mean they will be a pregnant teenager-hell most of the pregnant ones around here are with the mexicans so they can have a check coming in-and I don't mean a check for working and they are mostly overweight and they don't wear dresses most of the time they are in their pajamas. My daughter went and yes she had a short dress and yes she gets told by everyone that she is a great dancer but she has also been taking birth control that I pay for not for her to have a free ride with sex but in case some hormone ridden guy takes advantage of her (Then he dies) that she will not have a child until shes ready for one.She has been taught right from wrong so I want her to have a good time-so I agree with GET REAL :)

This post really has nothing to do with me like i said my child did not go. But if she had of she would of worn a short dress also (nothing wrong with that) ALL i was saying is some of the dresses i saw were a little to short!! ALSO MOM you did prove a point that i was trying to make..... no matter how a girl dresses or what message she sends out the boys are always gonna get the blame for taking advantage of the girls

You lifeless people on here are PITIFUL. I would love to know how they would like to prove sick rumors like this. All high schoolers do is start lies and now the parents there at formal (and on here) are just igniting the flame?? Do you realize the girls names you mentioned are minors?? And you have the indecency to post things on the internet about them that you don't even know for sure when you more than likely don't even know the girls?? How about you think about the way you could effect someones reputation before you run your mouth or post things on TOPIX.

Today's style is no different than the short dresses worn in the early 70's. Need proof look in old yearbook's from that era.
