Review: Jamestown Plaza Apartments

Poor management. Rent was just raised and is now way over priced for the conditions of the buildings. Laundry has gone up $.25 for both washer and dryer. Majority of tenants have been evicted with 30day no cause or they have simply just left because they can no longer afford to live here, or just don't want to deal with the managers anymore. Very little security here as far as wondering if you will keep your apartment or be kicked out.

Just issued no fireworks what so ever. Horrible onsight managers who make horrible management decisions. Nothing against Norris and Stevens except for hiring these morons! Would not suggest moving here to anyone.

Bad onsight managers that have already had a harassment charge filed agains them within the first 2 months they were here. They are very nosey and intrusive.

Yeah this place really went downhill. It seems like it's getting to the point where the little kids that live here aren't even gonna be able to play outside anymore. The managers complain about everything and expect everyone here to act like its a gated community or something. This is the place where the people that can't afford, or get into the other nearby apartments go. It's just getting really ridiculous around here.

This place has gone WAY downhill. The current managers are intrusive, nosey and act like they think they are everyone's parents rather than fellow tenants who want to make life pleasant for all who live here. They recently felled and cut up some trees from the winter snowstorm...and instead of offering the wood to the tenants (many of whom have fireplaces) instead gave it away to their relatives. Remember, it is the tenant's rent that paid for the work on the trees. They make living here a pain. Add to that raised rents and 30 day evictions so they can get new tenants at the higher rental rate and you have a complex which it is best to avoid rather than seek out. Don't move here unless you have no other options at your disposal.

I'm an ex-tenant who was lucky enough to have moved out before the manager swap, but I am still very close to another tenant so I am there quite a bit and just wanted to help warn anyone considering Jamestown Plaza for anything other than YOU'RE VERY LAST RESORT! Every negative thing that was stated above is ABSOLUTELY TRUE and then some. Including this... The last manager lived upstairs so that was to be their apartment. However, they didn't want to be upstairs so they 30 day no caused the tenants right below that apartment so they could have it! HOW RUDE and INCOSIDERATE!!!

If you're reading this you can be assured that every word posted above, about Jamestown Plaza is true.

Norris and Stevens have no heart, so therefore they hired managers with no heart. Business is business...on that I have no argument. But the managers, as much as they try not to admit it, DO have say over a lot of things. These people are EVIL and go to church to hide it.

I am not normally a spiteful person, but I feel it my duty to warn others of the injustice that goes on there.

I would rather live on the street than EVER rent an apartment at Jamestown Plaza again!!!

One word - BOYCOTT!!!

The Managers must be new since I moved in here in September 2010. They are very nice and take care of the apartments well. They seem to be very fair. I have never had a problem and was surprised to find this website. Like I said, these messages must be about the old managers.

New managers are very nice, and take care of everyone. There always asking how they can help, and if anything is needed. I recommend Jamestown Plaza, New managment is Great
