Agree. The Neo-CONs profess to hate welfare, but THEY take a lot of it -- the HIGH-PRICED kind of welfare, like national defense, roads, and education. They are like "Cousin Clem," who just never seems to be able to pick up the check, or to pay his own way!
"Sponging" off the system: it's the Neo-CON way of life!
I think that's why they are pushing hard against public education.$600 billion a year escaping their clutches.

That sort of reminds me of a rule which the Southern Baptists are rumored to have: a husband and wife presumably are not allowed to engage in sex while standing up, because someone might think that they are dancing.

The short answer is probably "more times than he can count / on his fingers and toes." Crime Dog strikes me as a barely walking upright / living / mouth breathing future sexual harassment charge dispenser. The only guy here who / might hold women in lower esteem / who could be a worse misogynist than him is Sir Trav.

Severe Conservative Syndrome
By PAUL KRUGMAN
Published: February 12, 2012
Mitt Romney has a gift for words — self-destructive words. On Friday he did it again, telling the Conservative Political Action Conference that he was a “severely conservative governor.”
As Molly Ball of The Atlantic pointed out, Mr. Romney “described conservatism as if it were a disease.” Indeed. Mark Liberman, a linguistics professor at the University of Pennsylvania, provided a list of words that most commonly follow the adverb “severely”; the top five, in frequency of use, are disabled, depressed, ill, limited and injured.
That’s clearly not what Mr. Romney meant to convey. Yet if you look at the race for the G.O.P. presidential nomination, you have to wonder whether it was a Freudian slip. For something has clearly gone very wrong with modern American conservatism.
Start with Rick Santorum, who, according to Public Policy Polling, is the clear current favorite among usual Republican primary voters, running 15 points ahead of Mr. Romney. Anyone with an Internet connection is aware that Mr. Santorum is best known for 2003 remarks about homosexuality, incest and bestiality. But his strangeness runs deeper than that.
For example, last year Mr. Santorum made a point of defending the medieval Crusades against the “American left who hates Christendom.” Historical issues aside (hey, what are a few massacres of infidels and Jews among friends?), what was this doing in a 21st-century campaign?
Nor is this only about sex and religion: he has also declared that climate change is a hoax, part of a “beautifully concocted scheme” on the part of “the left” to provide “an excuse for more government control of your life.” You may say that such conspiracy-theorizing is hardly unique to Mr. Santorum, but that’s the point: tinfoil hats have become a common, if not mandatory, G.O.P. fashion accessory.
Then there’s Ron Paul, who came in a strong second in Maine’s caucuses despite widespread publicity over such matters as the racist (and conspiracy-minded) newsletters published under his name in the 1990s and his declarations that both the Civil War and the Civil Rights Act were mistakes. Clearly, a large segment of his party’s base is comfortable with views one might have thought were on the extreme fringe.
Finally, there’s Mr. Romney, who will probably get the nomination despite his evident failure to make an emotional connection with, well, anyone. The truth, of course, is that he was not a “severely conservative” governor. His signature achievement was a health reform identical in all important respects to the national reform signed into law by President Obama four years later. And in a rational political world, his campaign would be centered on that achievement.
But Mr. Romney is seeking the Republican presidential nomination, and whatever his personal beliefs may really be — if, indeed, he believes anything other than that he should be president — he needs to win over primary voters who really are severely conservative in both his intended and unintended senses.
So he can’t run on his record in office. Nor was he trying very hard to run on his business career even before people began asking hard (and appropriate) questions about the nature of that career.
How did American conservatism end up so detached from, indeed at odds with, facts and rationality? For it was not always thus. The point is that today’s dismal G.O.P. field — is there anyone who doesn’t consider it dismal?— is no accident. Economic conservatives played a cynical game, and now they’re facing the blowback, a party that suffers from “severe” conservatism in the worst way. And the malady may take many years to cure.

Obama Advisor’s Call For Global Tax Part Of UN Agenda For Transfer of Wealth

Director of the White House’s national economic council Gary Sperling’s announcement that a plan for a “global minimum tax” is in the works continues the efforts of Barack Obama himself to oversee a massive transfer of wealth under the auspices of the UN.

The call also echoes similar rhetoric out of the United Nations which recently announced an agenda to impose a world tax on all financial transactions to “help the poor”.

SO LET'S SEE, WE PAY.....

FEDERAL TAXES

So these "Constitution loving, 1st amendment defending" pukes attempt to silence, discredit, slander, and flat out lie about anything and anyone who opposes them. Seriously, Drunken (Not)Conservative, YDD, and the rest of these COMMIE PUKES here are nothing but weak minded, America hating, low life scumbags. They should all be tried, and shot, for treason.

Republicans reject Obama budget as gimmicks, tricks and higher taxes

President Barack Obama’s $3.8 trillion budget request for fiscal year 2013 breaks his promise to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term and worsens the fiscal crisis, key Republican lawmakers said Monday.

“His plan for America is throwing in the towel,” Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), chairman of the House Budget Committee, told reporters in a conference call after Obama announced his new plan.“The president has punted again; he’s failed to take any credible action.”

“This is not a fiscal plan to save America … it’s a political plan for the president’s reelection,” Ryan said.

Republicans called the budget a campaign document that increases the debt by another $1 trillion without a plan to reduce the $15 trillion deficit.

“This budget is exceedingly deceptive and goes beyond anything I’ve ever seen before,” Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the ranking Republican on the Senate Budget Committee said during the conference call.

Obama’s budget promises billions of dollars in new stimulus spending, unprecedented levels of spending and new tax hikes.

Obama wants nearly $2 trillion in new taxes, including $1.4 trillion in income taxes,$143 billion in additional inheritances or “death taxes,” and $340 billion in other tax revenue.

“We built this budget around the idea that our country has always done best when everyone gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules,” Obama said in his budget.

“It rejects the ‘you’re on your own’ economics that have led to a widening gap between the richest and poorest Americans that undermines both our belief in equal opportunity and the engine of our economic growth. And countries with less inequality tend to have stronger and steadier economic growth over the long run,” Obama said.

According to an analysis released by the House and Senate Budget Committees, the president’s deficit reduction claims take credit for $2 trillion in savings already committed to under previous law and another $1 trillion in savings that was never even requested for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The budget panels said the plan would allow Social Security to go bankrupt because it failed to address reforms, and also imposes a 23 percent across-the-board cut on seniors.

“The president’s budget is a gloomy reflection of his failed policies of the past, not a bold plan for America’s future. It is bad for job creation, our economy, and America’s seniors,” said House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Speaking on the Senate floor, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said the president’s budget is “what a failure of leadership looks like.”

“The truth is Democrats want to have it both ways. The president wants to be able to take his budget around the country to talk about the parts of it he thinks people will like. And Democrats in Congress want to be able to avoid a vote on it because it’s so damaging for job creation, seniors and the economy,” McConnell said.

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) cited certain spending priorities as election year politicking by the White House, including $522 million for renewable energy programs,$45 billion to extend unemployment,$35 billion to create a universal dislocated workers program and $13 billion for a “pathways back to work” fund.

Rep. David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) said that upon reviewing the budget, he found it hard to believe Obama is taking his fiscal duty seriously.

“I sincerely wish the president would put new batteries in his calculator and realize that increased spending and stimulus will not lower our debt and deficit, nor will a faulty and mathematically unrealistic ‘Buffett Rule,’” Schweikert said.

President Magoo needs no Delphic oracle

President Obama is nothing if not an incorrigible spendaholic, as his new budget reconfirms in spades. While the nation drowns in debt, Obama wants to buy new expensive Tinkertoys to indulge his utopian fantasies.

Legend has it that prior to embarking on his mission to conquer the known world, Alexander the Great, who had not yet established his greatness, visited the oracle at Delphi seeking a good omen. The oracle was actually a priestess who sat on a stool in the crypt of Apollo's Temple above a fissure in the earth that emitted vapors and put her into a trance, wherein she would channel messages from Apollo.

Alexander encountered a minor problem when he arrived at Delphi: The oracle was only open for "business" one day a month, nine months a year, and it didn't happen to be open then. So Alexander went around the village, searching for the priestess. When he finally found her, he forced her to accompany him to the temple. Upon arriving at the temple, in his eagerness to receive the oracle, he was literally shoving her down the ramp toward the crypt when she turned abruptly toward him and exclaimed, "Boy, there's no resisting you." With that, Alexander took his hands off her, stepped back and said, with great satisfaction, "That's the only oracle I wanted to hear."

This is precisely the attitude that possesses President Obama. He is hellbent on pursuing his agenda, and he will not be denied, even if he has to strong-arm the gods and flout the laws of finance and economics to get his way.

While he has the entire nation horrified at our imminent national financial collapse, he chooses not to steer the ship of state, but to drive his putt-putt electric car with all the acumen and obliviousness of Mr. Magoo, smiling in self-satisfied delight as he careens through the streets of our national budget, imperiling everyone in sight.

Obama resents having to deal with these nagging debt issues, as they interfere with his obsession to play with his new spending toys in his quest to redistribute, er, transform America into his image. He refuses even to make a good-faith effort to confront these problems, because he can't wean himself from his reckless addiction to profligacy and social planning.

His 2010 budget projected a $1.2 trillion deficit and produced $1.3 trillion, and his 2011 budget gave us another $1.3 trillion deficit. Last year's budget was projected to generate a $1.1 trillion deficit, and preliminary data indicate that it will be worse when all the numbers are calculated.

Obama complained when he was forced to compromise with Republicans in Congress on spending "cuts," which are actually merely reductions in the rate of increase, as we all continue to wallow in the anesthetic fictions of baseline budgeting. Nevertheless, he boasted that he had agreed to more than $4 trillion in cuts. So we should expect something at least marginally prudent this year, should we not, as we approach $16 trillion of national debt?

Well, in a word, no. Obama has anything but frugality on his mind. Is he going to take advantage of the expected "savings" from winding down our military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, the twin evils he and his liberal colleagues have blamed for much of the national debt? The answer, again, is no. Modern Democrats never use projected savings to reduce overall spending; they use them as an opportunity and excuse to spend more elsewhere.
