yes,but many other bands have come along. But all of these bands followed in the footfalls of the great Led Zeppelin, but none can fill in their steps.

1 Really? AC/DC, fronted with great Bon Scott didn-t followed any Zep!! DC beat Zep in live performances. No talent? Just three cords? C-omon! DC didn-t took so much from others artists, like Zep did. It is much more easy to be geniouse, if you took so many from others... |

Mr. Rocko. Read some rock history. AC/DC took inspiration from the greatest Rock band of all time- Led Zeppelin- and covered some of their songs such as YOU SHOOK ME.

Pink Floyd were much better. They had a better range of styles. Led Zeppelin were all: HEY LISTEN TO ME WHINE AND LISTEN TO ME SHRED MY GUITAR.

Just love how VH1 with their rather foolhardy, non-subjective and biased lists about everything, try to suggest Black Sabbath started hard rock. It WAS Led Zeppelin and they have no peers in that regard or otherwise.

Pink Floyd didn't have a range of styles, led zeppelin is the best rock band hands down. they're riffs, lyrics, everything was perfect except their live performance. =(

Jimmy page never was as much as a "shred gutarist" he was more of a experimental, emotional, "bluesy" guitarist and robert plant was one of the greatest singers ever and did not "whine" |
