They mention that a forum poster said that Brian's family knows something, but they forgot the part where several posters were never taken up on their repeated offers to come out and help search or that one notable poster who happens to be an Emporia businessman offered a substantial cash reward from his own pocket for info leading to Brian being found even though he doesn't know the Tresters.
This is a much more detailed article than our local reporters ever got. I can't help but wonder if that's because of the news source, the law enforcement reports or the cooperativeness of those interviewed.
