maysville police

i was coming up maysville rd 98, friday moring at 648 am when maysville policewas setting at lyle field rd the back end of the car was in the road.i had to move over to the riht side of the road to keep from hitting them. please lets call mr baker at maysville mayars office ro complain about this. lets get them in the right way to give tickets

it was probably the barney fife one .. you should see him swagger when OUT of a squad car .. it's comical or would be if not so very sad

I live in Maysville and appreciate our law enforcement,,,look at your police officers and talk trash about them..OK!

By the way Sam, "is there any hope" can't say much, he's from Hartwell and their police was just sued for 17 million for beating a poor black man. Why, Al Sharpie Sharption is even going to be in Hartwell Saturday to make sure mister victim is served his just rights.

I live just outside Maysville and I have been pulled over TWICE for not speeding. Both times were late at night. I was accused of drinking both times. Well, I hadn't had anything more than a diet coke and some coffee. The last time I told the police officer that I knew better than to speed going through there. I also told him that they ( the Maysville police) had pulled over just about everyone in town by now. He told me he pulled me over because my tag light was out. When I got home, I got out and checked my tag light. It was fine. I called the Mayor's office to complain. He wasn't in, but the secretary or whoever answered the telephone, took my name and number. I never heard back.

There are people who cruise around in Maysville looking for "stuff" to steal, being a victim of a crime myself,, People who live here do not want thieves to come here and sour our nice little town,,,if you don't live here why in the world would you be in Maysville??? to visit???? please try to cruise your own town if you must be out late at night...Maysville police are doing what the People pay them to do...PROTECT AND SERVE...

Please speed thru maysville and we will take your hard working money and spend it on more policeman to catch more speeders...will you speeders ever learn??????

Oh for goodness sake. The prime purpose of the Maysville police is to bring in revenue, building the town's coffers via traffic violations. That is what the extra men were hired for and that is what they do. Every one knows this, so don't try to describe it as any thing other.

I was on my way to my home after going to visit friends in Hall County. I have lived in this area for 45 years and have never been in any trouble. Your insinuations are extremely offensive.

Poor Bosefus, too ignorant to have facts. 1st the hartwell officers were cleared of any wrong doing, and the rally for the "victim" caused more problems for the family than help.
Maysville police have done a excellent job with little money or man power. Keep it up.

Hey you guys police are human not slaves. They are just doing their job. Wanna meet some police that are jerks go threw The very small town of
Pendergrass Ga. These guys wait in Jefferson
area to get people going home from the new mexican cafe just to follow and stop them in their area to get a case. They also stop people for sometimes for no thing. I think Pendergrass is to small of a town to have a police department. So let
Jackson County SD handle these small towns and use the extra money to support our Sheriff Department they were handling it just fine.
I have lived and work in Jackson County for 40yrs.

I think most small towns depend on the "out of towners" to get those speeding tickets. They typically don't want to charge locals. Mainly because it is a "small" town. Maysville is a very close knit community. I think there are some wonderful people living there. But, when the "out of towners" are harrassed by police then they tend to go around that community. This causes lose of revenue for local business.

Our Jackson County Sheriff Department needs the
revenue more tha these small towns do. But Maysville Police department has been there since I
moved and started working in the county of Jackson.But Pendergass Police is owned and operated local rich people of the greedy generation.

Maysville police are want-a-be's. I also have been pulled over accused of drinking late at night. Also pulled over because I was doing 27 in a 25 just warned mind you. And to all that are proud of them kudos I guess since Maysville is such a dead little town you get your kicks watching them run up and down the streets with the pretty blue light and sometimes I bet they turn on the siren for you don't they. By the way have they actually ever solved a crime.

First of all Maysville is a little town,,and we like it! Thats why I live here,moved from Atlanta to get away from crime and traffic,do you blame me for that? your just jealous....

Unfortunately Maysville does have crime, and yes the police have cleared some of the undesirables out .. out, gone and good riddance thanks to the Maysville police and diligent residents. And Roger .. come on by again, we'll have em turn the pretty blue lights on for you once again.
