The end result of this is one we might never know. A life saved. Preventing the consuption might have prevented a young woman fromdoing something she might regret forever. Or a little drive over to another party that the car never makes. Not to mention the people in the car. Good work.

seenalot your right it could have saved them or someone else from being hurt! If people could be responsible when they drink it would make things better not saying i agree with drinking. but one point i would like to make is that its not just underage people who arent responsible when they drink i dont think that a 21 year old is anymore responsible than and 18 year old and even adults are irresponsible when they drink. adults drink and drive they kill people with allcohol in their system to so its not only college age children

Have the police found the "Shippensburg creeper" yet? Of course not, no money in it for them!

Her son is one the crazys more than likely. Ever year there are more crazys coming here to go to the ship su parties. I say make all drinking off limits or get exspelled.
Make the town dry to the whole community and things could get back to normal!!!!

No matter what you try to enforce it isn't going to stop people from doing what they want to do. I live in a college town that went dry last year and believe me there was as much if not more underaged drinking occuring.

Prohibition doesn't work. This country, as a whole, learned that many, many years ago. Read your history, dingbat.

Beenthere... are you serious? Obviously you have never been to college. Go to Penn State and your mind will be blown. Shippensburg cops are stricter than most schools and it is turning kids away from coming here. The school has a hard enough time getting prospective students. If you don't like it then move somewhere else.. otherwise quit crying and provide a meaningful and intelligent comment.

Yes, they will learn as soon as we step up to the plate and show them how to drink.Alot of people around this world drink alcohol in moderation every day. In the United States our children are taught this is bad.Well obviously it really isn't a bad thing. Getting drunk in public is socially unacceptable and this is a true example of eating forbidden fruit.I'm not going to go on a lecture about the vice and virtue of the subject but I would like to point out one simple fact-It will happen.
It will happen and unless you live under a rock this will affect you life...so.Let's address the issue and not the people. I for one don't mind a glass of wine or a beer (never met one I didn't like).but we need to teach our children to focus more on the studies at hand and make "partying" a little less of a collage goal.

I'd say we need to educate them in drugs and alcohol and tell them the truth, none of this fear mongering crap.
Focusing on studies is another way of not dealing with their reality.
