Actor in LDS films booked in jail for felony theft

Posted: 8:41 AM- PROVO - An actor who has appeared in Mormon films has been booked into jail for felony theft.
Michael Birkeland was booked into jail for felony theft after a Utah Valley University art instructor told police that he appeared on the Web camera of a stolen computer.
According to an affidavit filed in Provo's 4th District Court, Birkeland attended an art class at the school in April as the guest of a class model. Court documents say while he was there, he was seen using an instructor's computer, which was missing after he left the classroom.

wow if that makes the church false then what about all those priest who molested children in the catholic church. As shown in the Mormon South Park Episode, a woman stole a "translation" from Joseph Smith, and demanded that he replace it with an exact copy saying, "If this be a divine communication, the same being that revealed it to you can easily replace it." Smith refused, and wrote the same manuscript from a different point of view.
Joseph Smith was given real egyptian from an ancient Egyptian burial to translate (this was pre-Rosetta stone, and Egyptian could not be read). Modern day scholars agree that his translation is entirely manufactured and incorrect.

In addition - Before Joe Smith "found" the golden plates - he claimed to be able to find gold. He defrauded some people of their money, who ended up digging into the ground and surprise - found nothing. Just like Warren Jeffs, Joseph Smith admitted he defrauded people. He also hid his polygamy and bigamy. Emma's parents did not want their daughter to marry him. Phoenix is horrible this time of year, so hot the bottom of your shoes could melt. They can have Phoenix. Nicki, I'd like to see you bring forth any evidence that "Joseph Smith admitted he defrauded people." He was envolved in a bank failure, but so to were many people and many banks at that time. It was a result more of the infancy of the US banking system than of malfeance on his and other members' part.

it is our goverment that gives all religion institutes a tax break, and we member of the Mormon faith are taught to obey the laws of the land and we do, wow we even pay taxes. We are no different then you all are we are human we just have accepted the truth and are following our Savior, and trying to live his gospel. I know Joseph Smith saw my Father and my Savior, and that he was called by them to bring forth our Saviors Church,which was lost for a long time due to men and their evil designs, but now it is once again upon this earth,never to be taken, and line upon line, precept upon precept we learn, and more is given to us each day, yes the Book of Mormon is true another testament of our Savior,and those who were here on the Americas. You all know this area was inhabited, by native American Indians as we call them today. or Laminites. How would he know what he knew how could he have done all he did with out the help of our Father in Heaven.If people would stop being hard in the heart, so anti aginst us they would see we are not evil, we are Christians,and we are the true church. But woe unto me, it is not so, but we live in a wonderful nation where we all can live. worship, and be whom we are...This nation was set up by our Father for that purpose. what we all need to do is get together and remember God, and put him back into all we do, even school. he belongs everywhere, as I grew up we had him in school, and we were not ashamed of him,or believing in him, today people have forgotten, who they are, where they came from why they are here, so please do not feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself for lacking in the wisdom of knowing your Heavenly Father, and all he has done for us, with out him I know I would not be who I am, I am not talking abut teaching about God in School, see you jumped to the wrong conclusion, but allowing prayer to be in if a child so desires it, to sue if a school want to hold prayer before graduation is wrong, these are some of the things that are meant when we say keep God in our schools, that is where the mistake has been made, so sad , but it is the signs of the time.

You cannot seem to separate God from religion. There is a vast difference. And some children love to learn about anything, while others would prefer learning nothing, including Math and History. We don't give them THAT choice. We claim to teach them a bit of everything, allowing them, as adults, to utilize what they learned as a child.

I am not brain washed at all, and I know the LDS Church is true, I found this out for myself, not by what my family said, I truly found out for myself... yes lets get this straight: before the earth was flooded Noah was where on the western hemisphere,and if this is correct, which I do believe to be correct, then Eden is here,in a certain part of Missouri, it was the flood that floated him away,and changed what we thought of as to where Adam and Eve first were, then the Book of Mormon put it all correct and made sense of how it was before the flood, then when the Savior was crucified the earth trembled and quaked, mountains fell, mountains were raised.this earth mourned and rebelle.d with quakes, fire and other things at that time. the plated I was always taught were as stated in the Book of Mormon were returned to our Savior. So I know they are in his hands.and I have never bought the story that they are in a mountain, why would he risk them here again espically in this time again of Sodom and gamora. I know I will be blasted for this but just sit and think and you will see feel the truth of what I have written..
