Criminal Alien Nation
http://www.vdare.com/rubenstein/050630_nd.htm Criminal aliens—non-citizens convicted of crimes—are a growing threat. In 1980, our Federal and state facilities held fewer than 9,000 criminal aliens. But at the end of 2003, approximately 267,000 non-citizens were incarcerated in U.S. correctional facilities, as follows |

This is interesting
Approximately 27 percent of all prisoners in Federal custody are criminal aliens. The majority (63 percent) are citizens of Mexico. Other major nationalities include Columbia and the Dominican Republic (7 percent each); Jamaica 4 percent; Cuba 3 percent; El Salvador 2 percent; and Honduras, Haiti, and Guatemala (1 percent each). http://www.vdare.com/rubenstein/050630_nd.htm |
Another good reason for deportation, what it costs to incarcerate them. BUT ONLY "IF" WE HAD THE PROTECTION OF A CLOSED BORDER. Otherswise, as the article says, they're just going to keep coming back thru the "revolving door". I was surprised to see the percentage from Mexico was as high as it is!! I thought it would be more spread out between Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras maybe. Thanks Betsy. |

good evening Gagirl, glad to see your computer did not catch on fire LOL. One reason that the stats for countries south of the Mexican border may not be so high, is that Mexico has (last I heard) armed troops on their southern Border. Mexico is very serious about enforcing their strick immigration laws. http://www.canadafreepress.com/2007/lillpop02... Mexico's Immigration Law you may find that of interest.. good to see you! How is that printer? Humming away? |
Can't understand why anyone one question whether people from those states would not travel to AZ. I actually would feel safer going to AZ BECAUSE of this legislation than traveling to the states issuing license to the illegals. Where has common sense gone in this country!!! Anyone using this as an excuse not to travel to AZ needs a reality check!! |
|
Yeah, I've read that too. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense does it? Once again a double standard. Still haven't gotten my cartridges yet. Will be going out with my girls for M-day tomorrow and get them then. Then I'll get it "cranking" on Mon. Oh!! Can't forget those hanging folders either can I? LOL |
|
Well, Hell!! Lets just put Mexico's law on a piece of DC stationary and slip it in front of Bush, underneath, some of that NAFTA AND NAU crap. He'll never notice and will sign it!!! My husband just told me he read where Mexico is saying now that they will be opening their borders. He couldn't remember where he saw it Another search on my horizon. Just in time for our election!! Go figure. |

Brilliant! LMBO! Gagirl you have done it again. I love your humor... how refreshing. I looked for a story about Mexico opening their borders, this is the only one I saw. Please let your husband know I am very interested in finding the "story" if he could recall key words and a time line in which he heard about it, that would be helpful in the search. Found this Mexican City Provides Illegals Sanctuary Monday February 4, 2008 http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/Mexican_Ci... Let me know if you have heard about it. |

Go all out dear, colored tabs for those hanging folders. Start right away with a system.. wish I had. Manilla folders (expandable naturally) I prefere Sharpie Ultra Fine Point (goes with my style lol) permanent markers, of varied colors.(again with the system). Post its,(you should see my office, one section is simply festooned with them) Dust off compressed air, and Monitor Wipes (ocasionally, you will come across folks that simply are so funny, it is necessary to clean coffee and other beverages from the screen ...memo to self "after meeting Gagirl" need to reorder) Naturally you have a stapler. Plenty of 25 lb paper. Try to find made in America (preaching to the choir, I know..but China now dominates the paper market). PS I have my own coffee pot here in the office. We will get into the binder machine at a later date..lol for those booklets and Bills our dear congress tries to pass. I have yet to purchase one.. but am in need lol |

He's already gone to bed but I'll show this to him tomorrow and see if this is it. I've looked and can't find anything either. I didn't find this one. Just didn't go far enough I guess. There's just so much info out there!! They stated realy clearly why they are doing it, so these people will get on thru to the US. So many don't though, because they're killed on the way by the very people who say they are hero's to them. What a bunch of hypocrites!! The more I read the angrier I get!!! Signing off for the evening. Have an early day tomorrow. Have a nice Mother's Day!!!

Big Knot in my stomach!! But I knew this!! Living in the metro because it's so populated you notice but don't sometimes put 2&2 together. Where I've seen it most is in the small No. Ga. town where our cabin is. We've had a place up there for 8 years now and it's unbelieveable what's happening up there. Vacation home explosion started it, I think. Plus a small catholic church that must had quadrupled it's membership. I can only assume most are illegal. The local weekly paper lists all police and sherrif office calls listing anyones name that has commited an offense. I would say 90% of those with Hispanic sounding names are listed for a minor vehicle infraction but then also for no drivers license or proof of insuance. This is not a Mexican population. They are from Guatemala. Some of us are trying to help in samll ways. There are several rental cabins around ours and the Rental folks are making an effort to hire locals. Even some of the retired that live on the mountain. Those of us that live or have a place up there are following suit. Every little bit helps. |
