The bus driver had no right to even touch the student in the first place!!!So why are they putting charges against the student when she did not even touch the bus driver. Also, she was trying to be mature about it by calling her mom and letting her mom know she was getting off at another stop, she was not even going crazy.

I totally agree with marissa. The driver is NOT allowed, NOR expected, to play the role of police in any situation unless he is in danger. Can anyone explain to me what danger could that girl ever pose to that whale-sized bus driver???

How dare a school bus driver touch a student! As a employee of the school district she should know better! If she cant handle kids she shouldnt be driving a school bus! Why isnt the drivers daughter having the charges for assault pressed in her? its clear she had no reason to hit and her mom is just as bad for touching a child that is not hers!

Under state law, when the child is at school or on the school bus, that child is under the responsibility of the state. It is the bus drivers job to keep everyone on the bus until they get home. She is allowed to forcefully keep the kids on the bus as long as she does not go too far. I don't feel, and the police didn't feel that the bus driver went to far. She was doing her job. That girl should be expelled. If you watch the tape the girl is the one who started the fight.

Wrong and wrong. A bus driver is not allowed to initiate physical contact, which she did by shoving the (horribly bratty) kid 3 times. Later when the kid tries to get the phone back the driver grabs her by the hair. Not OK, not legal. The kid was obnoxious, but the driver broke the law by pushing the kid around. She should have let her off the bus and filed a complaint against the kid, and then refused bus service, as it played out the driver should be fired, or the next time this happens there will be a major law suit.

Teens Violence is increasing day by day. There are various reasons why teens become violent, but whatever the case, this is the daunting scenario we have today of our younger generation. I read on this blog " http://parentingteens.com/blog/teen-guilty-in... " that " Just recently, CNN reported a heart-breaking news about a Berkeley teen who was convicted in the murder of his father. The victim was raising three kids on his own when one of them, for reasons unknown, murdered him with a gunshot to the head. The judge handling the case found the 16-year-old teen guilty of first-degree murder with an enhancement for using a gun in the death of his 40-year-old father."
So what do we all expect of our future which lies in the hands of our younger generation. The scenario was quite different in previous generations that have some believes and values.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Virgo

If something is weighing on your mind it will start to affect your health, Virgo. It might make you feel tired or depressed, or it could dominate your thoughts. You know what you should do about it, of course, but it seems like too much effort or you want to pretend that it doesn't exist. Unfortunately, this escapist attitude won't make the problem go away and might even make it more tricky by the time you finally decide to tackle it.
