FAA revokes licenses of wayward Northwest pilots

WASHINGTON - The Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday revoked the licenses of the two Northwest Airlines pilots who overshot their Minneapolis destination by 150 miles.

Playing on their computers is one thing. Ignoring air traffic control and being completely out of communications is a totally different thing. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE MEN? How could they have put 144 lives at stake for a "software lesson" at 30+ thousand feet? SHAME ON THEM. Even if you buy their story (I sure don't), it's ridiculous! Puh-lease. They should never be allowed to fly commercially AGAIN. Ever.
