I keep hoping that someone thats there will notice that this thread has activity, and clue us in as to whats happening. The only time that I can recall a "boil water" order for any where we were living was after a hurricane. That was a very damaging hurricane and a high-level emergency alert. Do wonder what the situation is for the order mentioned here. Best wishes for resolving.

More than likely the reason that there is a boil water issued would be that if people havent noticed there is new water lines from the ste. genevieve county water supply going thoroughout the town replaceling existing lines to delete the need of the use of the so called toxic well that certain individuals have deemed. And just like any town when there is a water line work, fire,or a break or damage to a fresh water supply there is always a boil water issued . Its funny how those individuals that are saying the negatives yet they fail to inform about the work that is being done to resolve the water issue and replace it.

Thanks for the info, sure wish they had included that tiny tidbit in the news article!

It is really nice to read something positive on here.

Have this on the other thread titled the same as this thread; posting it here again, in case anyone reads, on this thread, instead: http://scitation.aip.org/getabs/servlet/Getab... And then...

Mention the work being done. Lol pat your self on the back. You have to be one of the city employees. It took years and years to do anything. Then it took news crews and fighting.
