One of my favorite movies has been Phenomenon with John Travolta. I can't remember when it came out, though. I have not seen My Sister's Keeper yet. I will rent it when I take the ones I have checked out back. I won't need tissues, though, cause I have a cold, dead heart. LOL.

I wouldn't exactly call it a "good" movie, but it is one that I like. A few more I like: Man on Fire Dune (the mini-series) Band of Brothers

Might sound stupid but my favorite movie (that I can watch over and over again and is not a Christmas movie) is SWAT. I have almost worn that DVD out. Jeff, my favorite Christmas movies are National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (I can almost repeat that word for word) and A Christmas Story (You'll shoot your eye out, kid.) LOL. I loved the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I also like the National Treasure series of movies, along with Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Hmmmm was me. I don't know why my stupid computer keeps doing that. I guess someone else in this house gets on topix. I will delete all my cookies and stuff and see if that will clear that out of there. It automatically puts it there and I don't catch it until after I hit the post button. Jeff, you have my email address, right? If you still do, send me an email. I lost your email address. I saw your folks' picture in the newspaper last week. LOL. They got yard of the month in Risco. I could never win that award. I don't have a green thumb and suck at decorating.

I liked the mini-series and the sequel (Children of Dune). I'll admit that the dialogue is pretty bad at some points (a lot of points), but I like the architecture and the special effects, even though they aren't all that good at times.

I think that will be a DVD one Calling a movie "good" is very subjective. I really liked Footloose. In fact, my friends and I were so rowdy in the theater, that we had to beg the manager not to throw us out. In the remake, I just hope they don't do it like they've done with the remakes of all those shows from the 70s, like they did with the Brady Bunch and Starsky and Hutch. I didn't watch the Miami Vice movie at all. The Battlestar Galactica remake was pretty cool (in my opinion). I was a big fan of the original, but only the first season. The second season (Galactica 1980) was beyond horrible.

I didn't like the Dukes of Hazzard movie either. I liked the t.v. series way better.

I have not seen the Miami Vice movie, either. I never watched the stupid series. I think the only half way decent series/movie remake that I have seen has been the Charlie's Angels ones. Dukes of Hazzard was a real stinker.
