Read Thursday's news on Saturday...now that's a innovative concept. Maybe you should call it the "olds".

I subsribe to this newspaper. Becuz they continue to do this stunt online I have decided to go back to the Record Herald. I read this online and in my recliner. I am getting very upset and PO'd at the PO lately. Hopefully this continuance of online ignorance runs them under. If you don't want it read online stop providing it online and stop teasing to sell! Got the bill yesterday for the PO account. It went right into the trash becuz of this garbo they pull.

They have enough ads to cover what they need for online publications to be free to public. Their paper sales must be down, or running out of sponsors.. who knows. All I know is that this is still free and the only way I can see what is going on in my old hometown.

This paper is garbage half the time anyway, I had home delivery before & cancelled my subscription due to the fact that I only actually received the paper about twice/week if I was lucky...Who knows what happened to it the rest of the time? Called & complained about it & was offered NO discount for my trouble & had a customer svc. rep suggest that I go to the store & buy it..What in the hell do they offer HOME DELIVERY for then? Besides the lousy service, The info. in the paper was old, I had already seen it in other papers or on the News itself, You only get half-assed news out of it anyway. I don't know why they still have the site on here if they aren't going to provide any news! I'll purchase another paper or read the record herald or Sentinel on-line. Good Job P.O., great way to get a boost in business!!!

This is so bad, it's laughable....putting a snippet in of a fatal car crash. What makes it laughable is imagining someone actually at their desk thinking they've brainstormed a way to sell papers.
Well, I guess you can say it's the basic info. on the story, but THAT one??? Ironic, this is almost as bad as the 'Legacy' disaster.

I was fully in favor of the PO trying to find a way to stay in business and find an innovative way to turn their Internet issue into a profit. Unfortunately, the reporting and the editing are so poor that I am beginning to think there is little merit to this publication. I hear stories about editors and reporters getting into fist fights at the Washington Post over the quality of stories and it makes me wonder whether ANYONE at the PO has any passion for his or her job anymore.

Cry babies, cry.
You want it for free? Do you work for free? Since when is free a successful business model?
The history of news has other examples of free-then-paid-for content. Television, for one. Good luck getting a free broadcast signal these days.
Nah, you just want your salacious tidbits so you can slap your knees and type about how stupid someone is who broke the law.
Makes ya feel real good.
Just go back to second grade and call the fat kid "tubby" so you don't feel so bad about being ugly and stupid.
Oh, yeah, I assumed that you're ugly and stupid, just like some of you like to assume the people at the PO are stupid and don't care.
Thanks for the insight, Kreskin.

Capricorn

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis. Use your strong internal discipline to accomplish your personal goals this year.
