Oh yay another ice cream shop. I think that makes 6 now. What Gettysburg really needs is a good bakery or bagel shop.

Happy for the business owner and I will make a point to stop and purchase a cone. Yummmmmm!
Just goes to show the whole casino thing had nothing to do with its proximity to the battlefield and was strictly a case that it offended certain people's morals. This house was about as close to the battle as you could get yet no one is complaining about the business opening--nor should they. No one is complaining that this new business will keep people away from other established ice cream shops--nor should they. I always thought the No Casino Group was offended by gambling and used the battlefield as cover up to impose their religious moral values on everyone. Now I'm sure.
Good thing for Mr. G that they don't disapprove of ice cream, too.

This is Bush's fault... his greed over oil and starting the world order prevented this shop and several other ice cream shops from going in back in 2006. Thanks to Obama now however, at least one will open... perhaps if we all sacrifice just a bit more, Obama can do more for us. Please people, support Obama... for the children... and what's not for the children if not ice cream? Can I have fudge with that?:>)

is this the place they made such fuss about not enough parking spaces? how about o'rourkes? it seats over 100 people and has about 8 parking spaces. all their staff and customers park in the 1863 inn and tour center private lot. i know. i've almost been hit several times by frantic waitresses trying to get in by 10:00am. don't be on foot in that lot at 9:55 it is really dangerous.

Yes, 4 Ice Cream/Ice places with in just a 1 block radius. Most def not needed. But glad to see an business open. Hope they make it work.... but for what they paid, everyone in town and their brothers are going to need to buy more than one cone!

Oh my god, Ice Cream around the battlefield? Those poor soldiers didn't have icecream, or gambling...er they probably did gamble while in camp so which is more appropriate? Ha ha.

My wife and I often go for runs around Spangler's Spring and Culp's Hill. This will be a great place to stop after the run to cool off and replace some of the calories we've burned off!

I cant believe some body can turn a real civil war house into business.I cant believe that paddock battle axe wasn't there with no ice cream stickers. oh wait that's right her civil war farm is business too. Nothing calms a person like ice cream maybe she can serve some during her counseling sessions.
