The level of incompetence is as unbelievable as the Animal Services Administrator Ernest Alexander saying that he did any excellent job.

Since A.C. Wharton has Alexander supporters on both the Advisory Board and Task Force, why did he fire Alexander? When those who are supposed to be there to help the animals defend and make excuses for the abuser and his abuse.....they are no better! Remove Frank James, Janice Taylor and Holly Harris. To try and lessen the suffering of that little puppy to save the necks of animals abusers (friends) makes them every bit as guilty.
Wharton promised change...a smooth talker with no walk????? It appears that way!

The whole lot should be treated in the same fashion as they deemed fit for those poor animals. and no they should all be fired, and fined. If we out in the public had did this we would be fined or jailed.

I agree with you one 100%. It seems humane treatment is the last priority on the list for Memphis Animal Services. The powers that be are busy promoting and hiring felons under the "second chance" program. I think on top of all of the horrific abuse there was a problem with the balancing of books, the drug logs and tracking paper work on the dogs! Maybe qualified personnel would stop those problems. The board members who are defending the abuse are those who agreed with the fired director, Earnest Alexander's running of MAS. Another is just out to save the jobs of MAS employees who didn't care enough to help the animals but got a paycheck. In my opinion a person who makes excuses for such sick and twisted abuse is just as bad as the ones who did it. But..bottom line the mayor could make sure they are all fired and should include those on the board and task force who make excuses for abuse.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
