Good luck with that. School decisions don't supersede state law which doesn't supersede the U.S. Constitution. WTF is wrong with these control freaks?

The South Carolina Legislature has enacted a comprehensive preemption statute. S.C. Code Ann.§ 23-31-510 states that:

No governing body of any county, municipality, or other political subdivision in this State may enact or promulgate any regulation or ordinance which regulates or attempts to regulate the transfer, ownership, possession, carrying, or transportation of firearms, ammunition, components of firearms, or any combination of these things.

Someone should point that out to Capt. Brown and the school board.

I would love to see his face when it "IS" pointed out to him. Maybe when the judge awards an employee whom has been fired, and arrested illegally, thousands of dollars for his/her troubles. It’s gonna be a beautiful thing, I assure you. I might drive down for the festivities!

It appears to be a new trend in political circles:

Let's make laws that we have no authority to enact. Thereby forcing the common citizen to spend thousands of $$$ that he does not have to have the law rescinded or nullified.

They wont care, they will likely either claim private property or the law allows them to make their own rules and proceedures. Been dealing with that here in Oregon. I did like hearing that vistitors could face charges...I guess the charges would have to be resisting false arrest...

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Can it be supposed that those who have the courage to violate the most sacred laws of humanity...will respect the less important and arbitrary ones... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants, they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

What a Brilliant statement. I was thinking as I read it "Now here is a brilliant person, he should hold some great power somewhere" Then I got to your "Credit at the bottom, and realized, He already did. Thanks for sharing that. I wish every ear could hear it.

Negro behavior has forced many people to carry guns! We are sick of their crime and will bust a cap in their forhead if we have to protecet our home, etc.

No problem. I was thinking that if my comment was THAT brilliant, you must be leading a VERY sheltered life.

Nice to see SOMEONE paying attention to the words of one of our founding fathers. Unfortunately, none of those in power today from either party seem to know or care what the intentions of our founders were.

Negros, Whites, Orientals, Mexicans; all provide soldiers for crime and all give us reason to need protection. Crime is not exclusive to any race or group.

Now go back to Storm Front or Christian Identity and bump chests with all the other ten tooth, tattooed wonders whose collective IQ would never need a third number.
