EvilThings, No one on this discussion is speaking in terms of the drama that goes on between drug dealers and their customers. Frankly no one cares. I sincerely hope that people choose to do the right thing and go to the police with any knowledge they have about drug dealers. As for people being sent to jail for six months over marijuana, it's the law and if you are going to break it then you need to accept the consequences. There are other states you can move to that have absolutely no problem with smoking and selling of marijuana. There are towns in Colorado that have it as their primary business and if you can scrape together a few hundred dollars then you are welcome to move there. If the only drug people around here used was pot we wouldn't be having this discussion. The truth is that this drug bust was targeting people who were running pain killers. Check the news archives, the problem has gotten so bad there was a case of a mother renting out her toddler for a fix. People take drugs and drive so they put their community at risk. They take drugs and ignore their children and that is a problem that the dealers are helping to create. Regardless of what you tell your self it IS the dealers fault for selling drugs. Listen to what your saying you said "son's and daughters" which implies selling to minors. If this is the case I hope you get caught and you do a lot more time than six months. You can tell your self that it's what you do to survive and it's their fault for buying it all you want but deep down inside there has to be a part of you that knows it's wrong. People get by every day who don't sink to poisoning our community to make ends meet. I'm a single mother who has to work hard to make ends meet and still have enough energy to play with my daughter at the end of the day. Yet I choose not to sling poison because I want to teach my child the difference between right and wrong. It goes beyond just my child, this is my home and my community and it is my responsibility to do everything I can to ensure people like you face the justice you deserve. If I had even a scrap of knowledge to help the police clean up our streets I would tell and encourage others to do the same. News flash for you EvilThings ALL DRUG DEALERS GET CAUGHT!!! It's just a matter of time before you hear the knock at your door. When's the last time you saw a fifty year old drug dealer?? It's because they all wise up or go to jail. Surly you have to be tired of jail hanging over your head all the time. It must be exhausting to know at any moment it could all be over.. If you haven't already been busted then it's not too late to turn your life around. Once you have a criminal record for selling drugs then it's almost impossible to go legit. There are countless programs that can help people get clean and get an education so they can help their community instead of pulling it down. Stop selling drugs it's pathetic. Man up and do the right thing before you produce a bunch of uneducated drug using offspring...
