Is there anywhere in Georgetown, that single moms can get assistance with housing help. Both my daughters who work, cannot find housing. They are living with someone. They told them they got 2 months to find a place. There is no way they can even afford housing being a single mom. One of my daughters is now pregnant with her first child and is going to be living in the streets soon if housing is not found. My other daughter has been on the housing list for over a year and still has not gotten housing. They both have no transportation, so therefore they cannot get better jobs. They have to walk to work. Something needs to be done to assist these young women in need, not only my daughters but also many other young women out there. Do you think the state would allow them to keep their children, if they are living in the streets? And also their dead beat dads is no help at all, can't stay out of jail long enough to make any child support money.
