I am responding to Gary's post. From what I understand the graves are also under Hwy 27 and into the school yard. I don't know about you but I would not want my relatives'graves to be desecrated, which is what has happened. Let's make it right for them. Identify them and give them a proper burial. How could the people of this community years ago have moved the gravestones and not the bodies? It's inconceivable!

Yeah ..proper burial??? I agree with you FWIW (now they say NOT under US27..but I wonder...)..but...they will be buried at the MRE cemetery in one MASS grave when its all said and done according to the Berne tri weekly....talk about desecration IMO.

Ohh and WHY move the headstones and not the bodies waaay back when?? Easy...$$$$ It was Cheaper!Just like the mass burial IMHO.

Its all about appearances in Berne.

The Swiss way!!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Libra

Don't try to do too much at once today or you'll disappear up you know what! You're all fingers and thumbs, accident-prone and things start breaking. It won't help if you're trying to concentrate at work and a certain chatterbox doesn't know when to shut up. Ask them to be quiet but try not to sound shrewish.
