I got it, dude; I was complimenting you for a witty phrase choice. So much for good intentions, huh?

Okay, that's the most ridiculous thing I've read here. I hope Mr. Kwitzky finds a good, mean dog of a local lawyer and tells those buttheads to bring it on.
Don't cave in, Kris! First thing I'd do is have a fundraiser to raise your legal fees, others have done it here and then have your lawyer write them a letter saying, bring it on, if your company who thinks its cute to spell things wrong can't tell beer from chicken there's a Mississippi jury here who damn sure can.
I bet that jury would give Kris his lawyer fees and a good damage award if he asked for money for business interference damages. I, for one, won't ever eat any of their nasty hormoned pumped bacteria chicken just because they feel they can step all over a tiny bar in a tiny state.
Kiss my grits, Chik-fil-A! Boycott!
While this is very dumb on the part of Chic Fil A they do have a legal right to their copyright and this is a violation of their copyright. Albeit a small and stupid one.

If I were them I'd let it go but they do have a right to enforce their copyright. And if he did sue he couldn't sue here, well it could go to trial here but this is a federal issue and he would have to deal with this in federal court.

Chik-Fil-A is a rip off...$20 for a chicken sandwich that you can get for $2 at McDonalds? Plus they're not open on Sundays...ripoff artists.
Chik-Fil-A is a 100 times better than McD's....I like that they hire highschool kids, that speak English, they are always polite and happy and I LOVE that they are closed on Sundays! Yes, it does suck sometimes when you want a sandwich, but remember back in the day when almost NOTHING was open on Sundays? It was a time you spent with the family :o) Another breakdown of the American society...JMO.

Actually, not so dumb. From a legal perspective, a pattern of failing to guard their trademarks can lead to the court holding they have become public domain (meaning anyone can use it). There is an old saying- if you sit on your rights, you lose them.

Not better for a $20 chicken sandwich...and I garauntee you if they were open on Sundays, all the SB's would be lined up after morning service. I'm from Milwaukee - bars were always open on Sundays - along with McDonalds.

Copyright Law is Federal Law.The Company did not file suit, they send Kris a letter, which they had to in order to protect their Copyright from becoming "open". They agreed to let Kris sell the 500 T-shirts he had, they were not out to hurt the "little guy" just protect their copyright.

Yeah, well, except for the insane publicity Kris got, it sure looked like they were out to hurt the little guy, and his T-shirts weren't any kind of violation of their copyright; for one, they were spelled correctly and beer ain't "chikin". They could have let it go.

I will never eat their greasy nasty chikin again. Buttholes.
